Shockey posts up Sapp bankruptcy papers

It's also pretty amazing how many posters claim to have first hand experience with Sapp being a jerk. Lots of ballers in the business in here.

i forgot these two had bad blood still over sapp accusing shockey of being the guy who divulged the bounty scandal on the saints

being an all american and a pro football hall of famer is not enough for the U? seriously even if he is an ******* what more do you want from him, if he never donates a dime those accolades are worth a lot to any school.

You think what he did at UM in anyway overshadows his attitude about the school over the last 12 years (since we started losing at that). Nah, the guy has done as much for the U as Uncle Luke! They love getting the 1st word out about how bad it all is to help their twitter page, but when it comes to helping with recruiting and such good luck finding them. Actually, they'll usually be singing the praises of OTHER programs while our recruits read their rants! Anyone who is buddies with them, great. But you'll NEVER convince me they've done the U any good. Just poster child's of what bad we had with all that good back then.
 
he and dan morgan were the most decorated players awards wise in college at miami, then went on to have a hall of fame pro career name dropped the school several times during his hall of fame speech, i dont have twitter so i dont know what he says about the school on there but I'll take your word for it. I just think the accolades outweigh him having an abrasive personality, universities, coaches and fans love to promote the number of former all americans, award winners etc to entice people to the school and especially guys that make it to the hall, is the highest honor a football player can receive. love him or hate him he adds to an amazing list of former players at the school just being as good as he was is amazing contribution in it self

I worked in the industry for years and hung around Sapp on a few occasions. Dude was nothing but cool and treated me like family every time. On those occasions he was with other guys he knew (a few old school Canes too), so I think he gives most people his representative, that persona that some of you are referring to. But around people he actually gives a s--t about, he's like brother.
And btw, Shock doesn't have the greatest reputation either. I'll take both on my squad any day, what we really need around here is some crazy MFs like them. Check

Sapp doesn't live in a cave in Afghanistan. He is a very public person. It's not shocking that many people have come in contact with him.
 
Shockey is that crazy white guy you want on your side in a fight.

Sapp is the guy who keeps getting you in fights.
