PAC 12 already looks like dummies. If they do this the Pac12 is going to look stupid.

They’re trying to cover their asses with a boatload of lawsuits coming at them. It's not really "caving" if these clowns are talking about starting a season around Thanksgiving. It's just a p-r tactic that dupes will celebrate as it's still just playing basically a winter season while maintaining the ability to see what transpires on college campuses and the country in Sept, Oct and Nov.
Either try to play now, believe we'll have a vaccine at the start of 2021 and try to play in the actual spring or don't play at all. Anything else is just posturing and appeasement efforts.
I honestly don't know what they're trying to do right now aside from look stupid as I'm not so sure the lawsuits like those threatened by the Nebraska kids would be that viable. Not that legal maneuvering by these schools with bad faith public gestures is ever out of the realm of possibility though too. They’re trying to cover their asses with a boatload of lawsuits coming at them.
We know they're getting heat from players, they might also be getting it from recruits. People like routine and structure and this flies in the face of that.I honestly don't know what they're trying to do right now aside from look stupid as I'm not so sure the lawsuits like those threatened by the Nebraska kids would be that viable. The actually found out it was just a congenital disease based mainly around Wisconsin and linked to grossly excessive cheese and brat consumption. Had nothin' to do with the Rona. Northwestern's med school will release its findings today on a conference call with university presidents.I guess they miraculously found the cure to Myocarditis.
This...some of the players already filed lawsuit alleging "ruination of career". Urban Meyer also spoke out yesterday and there has been a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes. Bye bye Commish...total dufus. Big 12 will follow like a bunch of lemmings. They’re trying to cover their asses with a boatload of lawsuits coming at them.
Take a moment to think of where those schools are located and then ask yourself if you're really surprised. What about the PAC-12? Surprised that there is virtually NO pushback whatsoever.
I guess they miraculously found the cure for Myocarditis.

FIFYIf they do this the Pac12 is going to look stupider.
Of course they accomplish nothing, what do you expect bureaucrats : that live in Ivory towers, and never had to hump it in the real worldSo they decide to go with a solution that accomplishes almost nothing and pleases absolutely nobody. Brilliant.
Hopefully, the CFP tells them to pound sand, they won't be considered for the playoffs.
By the time the Spring rolls around Fields will have signed with an Agent :personally, i love the idea of midwestern universities starting a schedule at mostly outdoor stadiums in January. I bet Justin Fields is looking forward to playing outdoor football in columbus in February
Hurry up and uncancel so everyone can recancel in 3-4 weeks when teams are crippled by mass quarantines
