Apologize, take responsibility, coach HS football? LOL The guy is clearly lacking between the ears; let’s see ....repeated cheating violations, suspensions, on-going affair with office asst., getting fired, going to her house and threatening her with knife, etc. Can’t get a lot worse unless he would have actually harmed her....he should seek professional help. With 3 small children to consider I’d be shocked if his wife stays with him if he’s capable of this type of stuff.

I mean if he took responsibility for cheating without going to her house to do whatever he did. Plenty of coaches have got caught cheating and are still coaching.

Set up? absolutely notttt he did it, they didnt drop a honey pot in his office to seduce him, saw elsewhere she joined the football team back in like 2018 under Harbaugh... selective enforcement may have been what the poster was trying to say and there seems to be some evidence of that.

Lots of people on twitter knew, lots of players apparently knew, wasnt a clear secret, had he beat Ohio State do you think this comes to light? Do you think it was purely a coincidence they fired him just after signing day? The moral turpitude clause is used when it is convenient. To me it was either the school knew and was trying to downplay it until they got called out by the victim and their hand was forced, or enough people just had enough of him as HC and they decided to "ramp up" an investigation they already knew the result of and made a show out of it.

if he had any intelligence at all he would have just gone to www.seekingarrangement.com and found a single 35 year old in Detroit.

then it's just a private matter with his wife and kids.

Sounds like she finally came forward and said something and they couldn't ignore it.

Isn't this short sighted because when the coaches leave aren't the players released from their commitments?
 
Epic crashout but I feel for the dude.

Reminds me of Tom Glavine, John Smoltz, Greg Maddux watching Mark Wohlers fall apart & no longer be able to hit 10 feet within home plate. Just out there throwing games away. His mind kinda just melted. The three aces they'd show on TV as it happened would just sit there in the dugout with a thousand yard stare as if "well **** that could happen to me one day, terrifying thought, **** ."

A bad enough set of circumstances can lead to a Falling Down moment like this & I hope I never head down that path, but who knows.

If my wife ever catches me, just going to tell her it’s not a big deal, cheating is like getting the yips.

I can’t wait for the press conference in a couple of weeks where Lane is introduced as Bama’s new HC and tells the world that Alabama is the best program in college football…just a few weeks after he was introduced as LSU’s new HC and told the world LSU was the best program in college football.
