Blud really ****ed up with the crash out. He could have challenged the “with cause” if they knew about this in September. A rumor floating around that the abortion was in December 2024.
 
Hate to say it but dude sounds like he was setup - as already stated by a poster.

This college football stuff has become big business and they’re used to keeping all the $$$. Now that they’re not keeping it all - anyway they can avoid paying buyouts and/or keep underperforming coaches on staff, they will do it.

Brian Kelly has been available and imo the guy to call. DeBoer is wise to get outta Bama when there’s a really good job available like Michigan before Bama gets rid of him after 3 seasons of no natty.

Stability my guy. 10 wins annually and he’s at Oregon the next 10 years living comfortably with stacked rosters and the ability to compete for the natty.

That’s not happening at Bama. After ur 2nd year of no natty, ur on the clock and outta there if no natty by end of year 4. Lanning would be a fool to take the Bama job before Bama fans/brass realize that there’s significant parity to CFB now. Bama will wind up with another SEC coach (Drinkwitz etc)

A setup implies he's innocent and it never happened or that the person he had an affair with was planted there with this specific purpose.

I'm sure this happens in a lot of colleges but he wasn't set up it was definitely leveraged against him to fire him for cause though.

As others have said, the only reason it's an issue (ignoring ethical and moral arguments) is because he lost too many games...
