Sherrone Moore - fired for cause

This whole ridiculous "set up" conspiracy theory comes from the same weak-minded thinking that landed Sherrone Moore in jail.

Both the "set up" and the "you ruined my life" myths are based on the failure to take responsibility for one's actions and the pathetic desire to blame someone or something else for one's downfall.

Now, don't take this the wrong way. I'm not denying the fact that there are probably a lot of people involved with the University of Michigan (admins, alums, fans) who can find a silver lining in all of this drama. "Moore is gone, and for cause, yay!" Yes, but capitalizing on tragedy is still very different from causing the tragedy.

The bottom line here is that Moore having an affair with a direct report subordinate was wrong. It was against university policy and could have gotten him fired for cause at any point it was discovered. That's why there were denials of the relationship and lies as to whether it existed. Because everyone involved knew it was wrong and a violation of policy.

This female was employed at Michigan for years, even before Moore. And the relationship went on for years, even before Moore was head coach. So for some people to act like this was some sort of a set up based upon Moore being an unqualified and/or disliked head coach is disingenuous. And as for some of the other details, such as contacting an OnlyFans model during halftime of Michigan-Ohio State, Moore chose to do that on his own.

There's been no set up, even if many at Michigan are happy to see this downfall come about. Moore did this to himself and then was trying to blame the female for "ruining HIS life". As if her life is going to be so much better after all of this.
"Set up" also shifts blame from Moore to the assistant. He had every opportunity to not pursue, even if she offered.

Read one saying she was promoted last month so maybe that what I read and figured pay bump went along
This says FY 2024-2024 and their fiscal year runs July 1 - June 30.

So to recap timeline:

Affair been going on for years

Questions over affair in Summer

Both lie and deny

Bumped her pay last month

She dumps him on Monday

He starts blowing up her phone and stalking between then and Wednesday then all **** hit fan
yeah and in the one post article you posted it is weird that it says he rumors started to intensify and he was advised not to work directly with her (advised by who is a good question) and instead of transferring her elsewhere he fired her. IDK how much control a coach has to "transfer" a school employee but that also seems a bit weird if it fell on him.

The post also said it was the fiscal year 24-25 when the pay bump happened.

There was no set up. It’s self sabotage. And no one involved is in the right. There has to be a victim by the letter of the law but in this case it was just passed around.

Even if they set him up or wanted him fired, it was his choice and he took the bait. If you do something you did you have to pay. It is what it is
This has been going on for a while according to most reports, so Michigan did not set him up. Possibly they held off on doing anything about it until it was convenient, but no way they convinced a staffer to have an affair with him for months to they could fire him later if he didn't perform to their liking.

Some things are not matching up

Reading too many articles

Saw one saying she received 70% pay bump

Also one said her salary would be private since they are not paid by public money

Some of this **** is fishy
