Shavar Manuel to UF

He's overrated ATM, he doesn't even start at IMG. He was a strong side end prospect then had the knee injury and ballooned to DT weight. That said, even at 300 lbs. he's very athletic at his size. If he wants it the sky is the limit. But I'm always weary of dudes who have motivation issues in HS, they tend to not go away.

Glad you gave an honest opinion here. Shavar aint the same Shavar from 2 years ago rep wise..This guys rep tanked faster then any 5* recruit I have seen in awhile. I agree that if the light comes on you have a monster on your hands..but will it? He basically hasnt played any good football in about 18months. And like someone said, he looked average at the UA game.

Will it come on? If I had to guess, I'd say no. But I'm not the coach and by all accounts Rumph wanted him more than any other d-line prospect this year, maybe he feels he can get whatever he needs out of him.

Killa is a straight shooter.

Before IMG Shaver played at Blake. It is not hard to stand out at Blake. It is not hard stand out in such a horrible program. To give you an idea of how bad that program is, they literally have a new coach every year

I can see Richt and crew coming up with at least 1 or 2 good DT's by NSD. As my frat Bro and former Gator BB point guard told me years ago. "You can make a good football players if he has the size and skills, but you have to be a good BB player already to become a better BB player". I still believe that and feel confident bt CMR, Kool and Rumph we'll get us a couple good DT's.

Working off old info. From what I've read on the sites, he was productive towards the end of the season and had a good showing at UnderArmour. Analysts said he won most of his matchups and was a lot quicker than expected. Should get a bit of a rankings bump in the newest rankings. I'd love to **** on a Gator but he's going to be a monster. You don't just lose that talent in one offseason. Injury played a huge role
