No didn't ask but wanted to so bad... I try and be mindful of my place..I'm just a recruits parent.. and in a few weeks want even have that title... but IMO i think he waits until after the bowl game.. That I'm not sure of... I've been here when the mobs were out with their pitch forks and torches... Now i have personal stake invested..I'm really not sure...Not that I'm afraid of criticism. ..I am Shaq's biggest critics..as a matter of fact i have made my very own personal highlights of the things he has done wrong..which to me is more valuable than the published film...and credit to him the published version is a lot bigger than mine... I started teahing him football when he was knee high...now he teaches me.. If I'm not around I will keep Geo posted on whats going on in our Life Novel..."Raising Cane".. hey imight be on to something. ..lol

Hey man, I just wanted to say thanks for your insight and sharing your personal family stories with the board. I rarely post on this board but I know a good role model when I read one (or see one lol) I have 5 young savages in elementary and I hope I'm able to be half as humble as you are with your son. Thanks for being a great role model in the father figure mold. #CaneGang

Hope you stay around. Your posts are always great reads. The last few years have been brutal for fans and we are not known for handling it well. I am thinking things will be more upbeat for a while. If Mark can get to winning quick and especially beat FSU we might become more cheerful. Have fun in CC. That's the hood I grew up in long long time ago. It was tough then and I doubt it got better. Enjoy the card game but be careful of the table stakes.

I wanted Butch, but I cannot think of a better man for your to intrust your son to. Now, if Mark just gets a good 4-3 DC so your boy can hunt properly in old Cane fashion.

Hey, Vern, I grew up off 183rd long ago. They let old white boys in there, now? If so, how heavy do I need to carry? Heck, carried M1 carbine and 12 gauge in the trunk in the 60's. 5.56 AR good for today, or I need to break out the .308? Hey, you're in Dade county schools, right? I was at Madison and Allapattah in 70's and 80's, gotten any better?

I think Dominique Ross will be our 4th LB in this class....he's got a lot of big-time offers and there's no way he'll stick with UNC...

We're doing well in the Jax area and with Richt this is sure to continue...

the irony...I started posting on grassy (canestime) in 2000 after the season I think. I can't believe its been 16 years on these boards.

Glad you and Shaq like the new coach. I know you were sweating out the timetable, but this is probably the best possible outcome for your son's future.

Also, Richt is working so hard the dude hasn't changed his clothes since Friday.
