Shaq

I actually never said that, but I guess expecting you to read was setting the bar a little too high for you, which makes you calling someone a moron extra funny. I bet you're a Trump supporter to boot.

Let it go, son. You're wrong.
No....I'm right....Lol at Shaq better than DP....Stop the stupidity

I would put Perryman in tier 2 behind the elites like Lewis, Vilma, Morgan, Williams etc. tier 2 would be Greats like Perryman, Spence, Webster, McCarthy type players, Shaq has not entered this tier yet in my opinion, I’d put him in a 3rd tier with many others that were solid players. If Shaq declares, I guarantee that he will not be picked in the 1st 3 rounds like Perryman was. Just to be clear I think Shaq is a good player and I’m definitely glad he came here but I hope he reaches a different level next season. As for Kaaya, I was simply using him as an example as to why we can’t use stats to rank our former players. Kaaya is statistically the best QB we’ve had but give me Dorsey over him all day. Shaq might break multiple personal records before he graduates but that doesn’t mean he was more impactful then someone like Perryman or Spence etc.

I understood your point I just don't think you understood mine. Saying that I ranked a guy over the other purely because of stats is a straw man. I watched Perryman play. I remember this board ****ting all over him unnecessarily too. The reason why I brought the stats is because its data and the data shows that with 11 less games Shaq has made as many or more impact plays than Perryman. To say one is on an entirely different level is likely not the case. People are emotional because things are bad now and they are elevating the last impact backer we had. I think the reality is that both are a lot closer to each other than they are to the greats. That was my point.

Nope my ***....Only a F-ing moron thinks Shaqs a better LBer than DP.....Go take a nap.....

Don"t remember Trump playing linebacker for the Canes.
What year?..

You'll have to forgive me. It's just that when he talks it sounds like he's taken repeated blows to the head. Easy to get confused

Ok, I can understand most of what you’re saying but I guess we disagree on how good Perryman could have been if he didn’t have to play for Donofrio, I do agree that they’re more similar to each other than to Vilma etc.

Well if we use that logic then I guess Brad Kaaya is the greatest Miami quarterback of all time… This is what happens when you just look at stats and don’t actually watch the game… shaq has started every game that he’s been here due to goldens inability to manage the roster and he has also been able to play under a defensive coordinator that actually has a clue what he’s doing whereas Perryman played for the worst defensive coordinator that I have ever seen in my life and was still able to make plays, just try to imagine Perryman in our current system and Shaq in the previous system. Shaq is good, Perryman was closer to great.

As bad as NoD's scheme was it was designed for LBs to eat.

Denzel made a lot of highlight plays but Shaq is the more consistent player. I would personally take Shaq over Denzel if I had to chose one. I also think Shaq will have a better NFL career.

They both started as true freshmen but Shaq started every game in his first 2 years without any injuries and put up better numbers in years 1 and 2.
Denzel blew up statistically in his 3rd and 4th years with over 100 tackles each year. Shaq is in his 3rd year and our defense is top 5. Although he only leads the team with 66 tackles in 10 games so far (projected 86), he has more TFL (11-5), Sacks (5-1.5) and FR (1-0). They are tied with 1 FF each and no ints. Denzel had 1 more PD (3-2). Denzel had some highlight hits but Shaq is slouch either when it come to hitting.

Shaq is a good kid love his heart and passion but let’s be honest he is slighty above average at best. Slow in space not a fast twitch guy doesn’t run side line to sideline and seems be out position or missing tackles far to often. I’m excited to see our scheme with some better athletes at LB

I can guarantee that no OC we face is saying "we better figure out a way to take care of 55".

Guaranteed.

When the likes of Webster...Barrow...DP hit you...all foward motion stopped...Not too many missed tackles with them...
Up Vote on the Nate Webster. I always wondered if he came back his senior year. He would be considered one of the all time names.

I absolutely love shaq as a person and agree he is a fantastic ambassador for the program. There is really nothing not to like about the kid and you know he gives his all day in and day out. But after seeing him his freshman year I thought he would be a much more dominant force as an upperclassman then he has been this season.
Now imagine what some of these guus could do with real coaching, not your coach saying..." Hey, you keep working these drills, ima go see if my punter has gotten off a 30 yarder yet, I'll be back in a bit"!
Thus staph needs so much change!!
We got issues all across our line,.. We *****, pi$$ n moan about their ability, but they havent had a (real) line coach now for how long?
Hard times,....again!
