Great kid and great player.

But even in the interview he accepts losing.

This team needs a reboot in the worst way.

Kick off the 10 bad eggs, Cut bait with the kids that are jags and go from there.
Manny knows this. I guess the issue is there's only so much the Ragone's of the world can do for you.

Well put.

The culture of losing that some of these guys were all right with—it is so off brand for Miami.

It wasn't until his too-little-too-late speech in the second half of the Independence Bowl that he looked like he wasn't all right with thing. Every interview up to that moment—losing was part of some process.

Shaq was seemingly too good a kid to be the leader some (a lot) guys on this team needed. Leading by example obviously wasn't effective. More extreme tactics were obviously required and some kids that you'd kill to have 22 playing for you because they handle their own business in a stellar manner just aren't comported that way.

None of that is any fault of his own and we all should be pulling for this kid hard to have a Perryman type of NFL career (minus the injuries). At least on the next level he won't have to deal with so much disfunction and immaturity.....unless the Browns take him.

Most comments fail to understand the sheer lack of Coaching at Miami.

Players do two things:
A. What you coach them to do.
B. What you allow them to do.

kid played hard every game, you cant deny that. Did what was asked of him whether you agree with the coaching or not. Need more guys like him who give it their all and stay focused

Kid's been classy since day one and every day thereafter. I think he has career in NFL. He has one skill many lack -- availability. Not going to miss games for suspensions and plays though pain.
