This could potentially be tremendous, if the BOT actually wants competitive sports programs. Opportunity to make a hire that would translate into success in all sports. I don't really expect that to happen, and I can't really blame people for wanting someone who will work hard on what is really the bigger priority, but I can dream.
 
This could be the news we are looking for. Golden's golden goose is leaving and hopefully we can get someone who wants athletics to be as successful as academics.
 
Football aside, she has done well for the university. UM is on a strong path.

As for football, I think her departure is a push. I really think it's more about boosters and the BoT.

We need someone who actually balances the two. I like what Donna has done academic wise. But I want someone who cares just as much on the athletic front too.

Yes I'm sure the first thing the BOT will look for is a president who wants to make the football team better.
