If he does get fired wont be bc of W-L
- if players get hurt, we will make excuses and keep him regardless of his record

Sad to say the only way he is gone if we have NCAA violations

We all know that this is the likely scenario: we suck again, Golden blames youth (look how many guys we lost from last year, blah blah blah) and points to recruiting class (which won't be that good anymore by then, but whatever) and the administration still refuses to pay the buyout.

This program is functionally irrelevant. We are all here out of some bizarre gluttony for punishment, memories of good times that are at this point LONG past and hope that maybe against all odds we manage to make it to a BCS bowl where we can be sacrificed at the altar of Urban Meyer or Nick Saban.

All true except those coaches mentioned above will be playing in a NC game.

Look at what Urban Liar did in one year at Taint. He turned that team from 4-8 to 12-0, then follows that with a NC with a third string QB. That's what good coaches do. We just need a decent coach to be relevant again considering the fertile recruiting grounds. Unfortunately, we have Al.
