Why is Blake our AD?
tremendous fundraiser, has enhanced facilities and is likely very cheap for an executive position. his background in ticket sales doesn't hurt him as he drives revenue. Not saying he's a great AD but he knows how to keep his bosses happy and play the exec card quite well or at least appears to.
I don't even know why we have an AD.
I think the candid truth is that the Admin was tired of dudes jumping ship for other gigs. Give it to a unknown kid that had no biz getting it and you create a lot of loyalty which is what the Admin and Bot where looking for.
Blake got it by default when *** face left.

Yep just look at all the tickets being sold. Never seen sunlife so packed and full of energy as that Clemson game against a top 10 team. Isn;t that the reason people refer to it as "no life" these days?
Not gonna lie, he's not done a terrible job. He's in over his head, but starting to adjust a little and learn on the fly. If he seals the deal on that indoor facility here soon (before next seaosn) I would not bash him anymore. But as far as ticket sales.. That'll be determined based on this next hire and nothing else.

Agreed but Donna gave him Year 5, not Blake. When Blake saw the tickets not being sold and the empty stadium on Saturday not only did he realize the team sucked and Al wasn't the guy but that the money wasn't coming in and that is what would get him in hot water. Hats off to him for going against his own word and pulling the trigger.
