You have cancer and are about to die, so I think the best course of action is to cut this little mole off!
 
For the Record...

He's never fired anyone on his staffs. They always left on there own accord.....

Firing isn't his MO.

Which tells you he's never made the toughest call in coaching. IMO you can't be successful in any high ranking position if you fail to acknowledge failure and subsequently act to rectify.

We all know it's his scheme but he cannot possibly be sitting back saying my D-linemen have been developed well by Jethro. Or Williams is getting the most out of my DBs.

I would be shocked if he cut ties with his lover bc he'd be admitting to his scheme not working. But to look at this staff and think "everything is in place to win big" is just downright ignorance.

You don't have to scapegoat to be successful in life. It's much more important to be cognizant of what YOU are doing wrong. Folden choosing not to scapegoat is actually one of the very few things he's done right.
 
To Add.. I don't think Golden ever had to Fire Someone at Temple... Didn't they improve each year?..... plus who the **** cared?

Makes sense. If you fire someone you hired, there is an implicit admission of error on your part for hiring him in the first place. One thing we should know by now, is that Al Golden never been nor, is not, nor ever will be WRONG ABOUT ANYTHING. Might be a stretch but that could also explain the lack of adjustments--his defense is perfect so no need for even minor adjustments, player just have to "get it".

He is beyond incompetent and doesn't change anything. He's never fired a coach, he hasn't changed his scheme, he doesn't make half time adjustments. He is incapable of change.

I wasn't trying to say he should scapegoat. Even within his own scheme the development at DL at the very least has been god awful. Getting rid of Jethro is not scapegoating it's upgrading.

No need to change when your buyout handcuffs the university, results don't matter, he is going to paid the same either way. I have checked out call me when this nightmare is over.
 
I've tried to stop caring, but I still find myself checking this site every 5 minutes.

I have cut off the university financially though.
