And I will try to avoid tweeting about the #Hurricanes' coaching issues. But when three MIA players are balling against top competition...

Don't avoid it, keep pointing out the obvious. Al and his coaches did not put this team in a position to succeed.

You are confused bc u are a moron.

No team with this many elite prospects should EVER BE LAST IN THE COASTAL DIVISION AND UNDER 500.

God we have some real **** smoking fans.

Ahhh the ol' internet tuff guy. Again there are two arguments here. Canes have had a lot of talent but went 6-7. Correct, of course. Thats inexcusable. Im talking about the comparisons to Chick being miss-used and suggesting the same for Dorsett and Perryman. Both were well utilized based on their skill set. Does that make any sense to you?

Dorsett should have been a 1000 yard wr. Perryman would have looked even better in a better scheme. You 6-7 with a bunch of talent then it's obvious the talent is being misused somehow.

Al golden showed up at his intervention with an anerrexic male personal trainer with fake ****. He sold 3 used cars that day. Him and his buddy went to New Jersey.

I gotta agree with sevenben. If you wanna use the "misuse players" argument then you can't put Dorsett and Perryman in with chik because those two are the few players that were used to their abilities. Now if you wanna say how can a team lose 7 games than you can put Perryman and Dorsett in with Chik.
You guys are out to lunch. And LULZ at agreeing with an fsu troll.

Perryman excelled somewhat at UM because he is an incredible talent. He's a top 10 in the draft type of football talent. You could see how special and explosive he was the minute he stepped on the field as a true freshmans. And he never really looked any better than he did as a freshmans.

He played in the same **** scheme and philosophy as the rest of the guys, so to claim that they used him well and taught him well while not coaching anyone else up is retarded.

Think of Perryman as the genius 150 IQ kid at a really bad public school. The bad school didn't make him a genius. In fact, if he stayed there for any length of time, his genius was likely undeveloped and squandered.

Amen!!!

Im a bit confused.. Perrymen and Dorsett were featured and did quite well for UM? Chick is a better example.

Actually PAR, this scheme was ideal for Perryman...its designed to keep the LB free to make all the plays ( although gt figured that out). I actually think Dorsett could have been used a little more...feel like he got kinda limited to deep routes.

You make a good point. The scheme is designed that way but it didn't work that way most of the time. Perryman exceeded despite his inept coaches. Dorsett should have had more than 1000 yards easily. **** he led the nation in ypc. He had guys playing off him and bailing yet no adjustments were made to take advantage of that fact. Dorsett should have never came out of games unless it was for a quick breather. It seemed like he was getting substituted way more than he should have especially for a guy like barrioes or wtf ever his name is. Coley disappeard.

I guess my point is a lot of these guys shined despite inept coaching. The only guy who doesn't fall in this category is Walford as you can tell he was a focal part of many game plans. Sad thing is it may look that way but you never know with this sorry *** staff.

mattyports: Mel Kiper Jr. said Miami WR Phillip Dorsett could be a second- or third-round pick.

mattyports: Kiper on Miami's talent level: "It's not where it needs to be, but it's getting closer and closer." Mentions Kaaya as a building block.

mattyports: Kiper has Ereck Flowers going 19th overall. Duke Johnson a "second-rd talent you might be able to get in the 4th rd." Dorsett 2-3.

mattyports: Kiper has Denzel Perryman as a second-round pick.

flasportsbuzz: Mel Kiper said Duke Johnson is "a second round talent you might be able to get in 4th round."

Sounds like the Stasi got to him already. Frightening how quickly they react to any negative press.

I'm laughing that posters on here think Dorsett and Perryman were maximized here.

Dorsett had 36 catches this year. We had probably the fastest guy in college football and he got the ball less then 3 times a game.

Perryman had 9.5 TFL this year. For comparison Sean Spence had 17 his Jr year and 14 his Sr year.

That's exactly what happened. UM's jackbooted thug brigade reached out to James Walker.

Finally, a sane post! This post is DEAD on. Crazy how much talent is wasted here.

The same idiots think that just because those guys will get drafted (even though they'll be drafted lower than they should have been) that means Folden is doing a great job developing players.

Taking first round talent and getting them drafted in the third round is their idea of success. They're incapable of any sort of intelligent analysis.

all those names becides chikkilo were 3 star recruits. its still something in the water at coral gables. they said as many as 10 can be drafted. no excuses with talent

So, you think a few days of better coaching made them better players? That makes no sense at all. How about they're doing well because they've had 4 years of good coaching.

I'll 1 up you.

How about they're doing well in spite of 4 years of worthless corching?

Flanagan: “How much has the coaching and scheme today allowed you to be aggressive?”
Chickillo: “That’s pretty much what the whole thing is. We’re running a 4-3, get off [the line] and you just play. … I’m just out here playing ball.”
