Semi-OT: Dorsey in the booth (Bills vs Phins)

The sequence and technique is what caught my attention. The headset, the hat, the notebook...all slammed on the desk. AND the big finish..call sheets and notebook paper smashed against the desk repeatedly. Quite the performance for the seemingly low-key Dorsey. Kinda like the serial murderer turning out to be the polite neighbor's kid who cuts your grass! Psychopath indeed.

Semi-sarcastic. Yes, the NFL is a different animal. At the same time, I believe you could count on one hand the number of times Allen threw the ball over 15 yards today. A 6.3 yard average throwing the ball for Allen today. Lots of long, slow drives without putting many points on the board. It just wasn't very efficient.

The Bills offense typically gets yards in big chunks. There was a stat in the game that this was the first time all season the Bills faced a 3rd and 10 or longer. Sorry, just reminded me of Gattis. Typically using all 3 downs to get a first, few explosive plays, and few points.

I'd say the Fins are above average on D, but not top 5 really. Maybe top 10, but I'm a Fin fan so take that rating with a grain of salt. lol

The Fins do have 2 great corners, but Jones has been out all season so far and X. Howard played with a pulled groin today. And you're right, the Bills didn't want to get into a shootout. Buffalo had quite a bit of their secondary out today and I think they wanted to control the clock and limit the number of possessions that Tua had to throw to Hill and Waddle. That being said, I think they were a bit too conservative today and it ended up biting them in the butt.

With five defensive starters out they did exactly what they wanted to having the ball 40 minutes. Just missed a couple important plays with the fourth down short hop pass and the botched FG
