Seems like all Jon Richt did..

Not that I particularly like him but, Mork set Lil Jon up to fail. There should be no way he should be a qb coach at a P5 school at this point in his career.

He doesn't care at this point. He's made a lot of money coaching, and you can see it in his face that he is just coasting. This move provided a potential boost in resume for his son while he gets to play NCAA on offense and making $4M per all at the same time.

I don't believe he is purposely trying to sabotage the program, or that he doesn't care at all about winning. It's just that now in his life and coaching career, he is doing this because he wants to, it helps his family, and if The U wins in the process, "Great!", and if not, "Eh!"

We accepted CMR condition that his son would be hired as a coach which went against the universities nepotism rules. It should be clear to Mark that his son is not helping the team as a coach. It has been three years and our offense and qb play has been worse every year. This is causing disention with the team players and hurting the team.Mark provided full disclosure about hiring his son before accepting the job and has total control with his five year contract ,but he should take the high road and find his son a job with his many contacts where he can learn his craft and become an asset and not a liability.CMR is risking his legacy if he does not make the logical decision and do what is best for his team and son. This will get ugly if he does not.

He trained under Bobby Bowden, what do you expect. Bowden is still dumbfounded by getting fired.

What's he supposed to do?

It's called coaching.

He's supposed to actually coach (kids to get better). That's the whole point behind a paycheck, to produce. Thus far, he hasn't - just like his old man.

Has our QB situation improved under his tutelage and guidance?

No. It has regressed. The man is unqualified for the position. He earns more than enough to be held to a big boy standard.

He is the first person that needs to GTFO, asap.

In fairness, the 2 QBs he had to work with so far have been the most innaccurate QBs i have seen at Miami since Kirby Freeman and Kyle Wright. Not an excuse and he has still done poorly.

Our QB recruiting has been dreadful, we need to take like 5 next year and hope one can throw a football. Kosi isnt the answer, 6-23 in a game is Nate Peterman bad. I wish they would keep Jarren Williams, but looks like that wont happen, maybe Cade Weldon will step up.

Agree with everything you said up until the part about risking his legacy. I don’t believe he sees wins and loses as his primary purpose in being a HFC, and his calculus is based on his faith more so than his logic. It is what it is. And the university colluded with him on the nepotism thing, so there’s that. But, I agree, this will not end well. Next years season I fear will get ugly from the gate (no pun intended).

That's his own doing. Jaren Williams is as accurate a QB as you'll find anywhere. And now Richt has chased him off with ZERO recruits at the position for 2019.

He isnt a good coach and his recruiting skills seem to be even worse but I think your reaching here on how bad he was. Kid was a true freshman and was relaying on his skills and not fundamentals.

You think that is bagging? He might be too soft, but that’s not bagging. You would be in a fetal position crying if you had a tough coach unloading on you. I don’t think he’s a good QB coach, but he’s no hard ***.

No crap. I saw JJ grape Jerome, RIP, by the grill and take him to the ground to ground on his a$$for taking practice play off. Of course Jimmy personalized treatment for each player pending on thier talent.

We got Jarren back it seems, which is good cause Kosi is not the guy that should be starting. Hopefully Jarren learned the playbook.
