I was not a big fan of Lewan, but he's growing on me here lately. I think him and Mario have that OL fraternity bromance going on right now. I like it. Gives us great exposure. They aren't just talking about dumb **** either. Both are highly intelligent and have great speaking skill.

This was my first time watching him and the behind the scenes footage was dope. Found it cool that both of them knew S&C Irv as well. Mirabal was humble and hilarious ingratiating Lewan with the players

Just a show on their podcast, nothing more than that.. Then they clip it to digestible shorts and get more views
 
Lewan was an outstanding OT in college and the NFL. Now an entertaining podcaster. He played at 6’7”, 310. He must have lost 50-60 lbs post retirement.

Loved his videos at the U. Has obvious admiration for what Mario has created. Toughness, hard practices and a culture of competition.

Mario is truly developing new PR skills. He has moved beyond his tight, serious self to a more affable style. His relationships with Tv personalities, eg Saban, McAfee, Lewan, are fun and great press for the U.

Mario knows that these guys (and Pate) help to shape fan and media narratives. Giving them this level of access provides evidence that the Canes take a backseat to no other program in terms of physicality and ruthlessness. I'm sure Mario wants to avoid ever having to lobby for a spot in the CFP.

He drank a Cafecito with Mario in that video, so he's on phase 1 on the Cuban Conversion path.
