This is honestly a very good d back group all on the field together. I think we will see this vs Pitt. It was Lucas first game from injury and he was very rusty. It was Fitzs first game playing safety again and he was very rusty. ZP was out all game. We had to bring more players in. etc.

He was going up against an NFL WR in the title game. He's been rock solid here for 2 years. Really unfortunate seeing people trash the guy.

If healthy, it's a nasty Secondary. But right now the most we can hope for is "mostly healthy."

This was the same lineup I had suggested when Lucas came back from injury. However, @Memnon has specifically said that JJ Dunnigan should not be playing Nickel as he doesn't possess the skills required of that position. At least not now. I trust Memnon when it comes to these things. He said that JJ is a pure Strong Safety type. At least right now.

Assuming @Memnon is right about the above, what options does that leave Hetherman? Does he put Thornton out there at Nickel vs Pittsburgh because they are not an explosive offense without Heinschel? Do we go back to only using Thornton as a situational LB and blitzer? Do we move Fitzgerald back to FS or keep him at CB? Whatever the case, it's clear that Poyser must be on the field. Do we keep Poyser at Safety or move him to Nickel? Or do we have Poyser and JJ at safety and put Fitzgerald at Nickel?

If we could just get Jaboree Antoine back.....

If Fitzgerald, Oconner, Poyser, and Lucas can all just stay on the field I think we'd be good.

Those 4 with jj is the room. Of course we get subs in here and there but that’s the 5. Rotate fitz/poyser/jj at safety/nickel
