I guess you can only show so much cornhole, eating hot dogs, and people running around playing tag before you gotta crap this out onto the screen at ESPN
 
I haven’t listened to that guy in forever, now I remember why. Imagine making Finebaum sound rational. JFC.

As mentioned above, NYC people have less than zero interest in college football, and to them college basketball was ruined when the old big East fell apart because their knowledge of even basketball only stretched from Syracuse to Georgetown.

People get mad at him and mad at everyone over the last 15 years (they got mad at me as well) cause the truth was the truth we sucked. What else were these people suppose to say? the super fans lose it if u say anything bad. But now there is direction and if anyone uses a little some common sense they talk well of Mario and the program cause it has shown trajectory with real results. We haven't even played a game yet but they recognize the lifeblood which is money and recruiting and we are doing both at an elite level. Paul is going to talk good of us cause we are showing it and earning it, its not a false mirage like the other coaches. This is the real thing this is how its done.

I def don't disagree. I was just pointing out the actual change in his typical response where we're concerned. Hey we could stand to hear a little rah-rah outside of the fanbase once in a while imho... as long as it's warranted. And in this case I really think/hope it is.
 
Mad Dog HATES all things Miami sports. Takes pot shots at the city every chance he gets. Heat, Dolphins. Marlins. Hurricanes. Doesn't matter.

Typical North Eastern sports elitist who thinks of Miami as a lousy sports town bc they show up to games late or (god forbid) decide to spend a Sunday or Saturday morning at the beach instead of shelling out to see the local sports team 10 games under .500 get blown out by a division rival.

Paul F spoke facts btw. Don't nobody care about in game attendance anymore. It's about that TV/streaming revenue, branding, and eyes on screens.

The other times it was fake and everyone except the fans saw it, only few of us saw it. They were just calling a spade a spade I had no problem with it.

program was running on fumes after B.Davis left, sure they were talking about us , only because we were the a big dog for 20+ years......but descent to irrelevant was completed at warp speed....... over last 4-5 years i had accepted the fact that due to lack of investment and poor staffing in entire AD dept we were a 6,7,8 win team. i am still convinced that Christopher Columbus group
also pitched the idea if you do not invest,,,,, next time we (Miami) might not have a seat at the big boys table. thats what 20+ years of mediocrity can do to a school.......
