Originally didn’t click on thread because of the names but the jokes in here were worth it.

Poor Orlovsky man - always tries to give actual analysis but works for ESPN lol.

Someone please just take Orlovsky, Legler, Louis Riddick, and Malika Andrews out of there and then lock the doors from the outside.

And make sure Mike Greenberg is in there.

He was a pioneer of his time, but never even shot 40% from the field in his career. There’s no shot he would be CP3 or Steve Nash… think more like Ricky Rubio…

If Bob Cousy were brought up with the same style of basketball as today and trained like the pros train today he’d be every bit as good as CP3. Ricky Rubio can’t run a team the same way or have the vision that Cousy did. It’s absurd to think that we can throw in an already-formed Cousy into today’s NBA. But bring that kind of talent and creativity and mold it like you can in today’s game and to say a guy like that would be Ricky Rubio? Cousy was a generational talent

Lol he was 6 foot flat probably 150 soaking wet. Come on man you. Morant would have as many as he wanted if it was iso.

I honestly don't think either one would make it if they were starting today in a world populated by sports commentary shoes. The greatest advantage they had was being first. And obnoxious.
 
Never listen to any day tike sports TV. It's Jerry springer type stuff. Just say crazy **** for people to watche.

On the other hand, Finebaum pushing Miami? We definitely are going to the SEC soon.

Nobody would disagree that Butch left Coker a stacked roster, but the fact remains that the last time we were consistently relevant was during His tenure. Even during Coker's last year when we went 7-6 people were talking about Miami.

I’m not even a guy that says old school athletes can’t compete today. I swear I’m not. I stick up for old baseball players all the time & fight tooth & nail for them. Basketball is a little different story tho. You put prime Drose, prime Russ, or a guy like Ja Morant in the 50’s & they’d actually think they were some being from another planet that would have been the difference in athletic ability. I respect your opinion though. Bc I’ve been on the other side of it many times lol
 
Things I have learned today here at CIS:

Bob Cousy couldn't hold up against UPS workers and Blimpies Sandwich artists on the playgrounds of NYC.
Bill Russell was overrated.
"Baby" Ruth wasn't good because he didn't play against the Asian or the Brown
Joe Z got lost at SEC media day and nearly dookied in his pants
Tall men have higher IQs than most people
Nick Saban had eye-lift plastic surgery
China is in SE Asia
The Towers bathrooms were used as a homosexual meeting places during COVID
 
I cannot listen to him. Just can’t. Have tried to listen to him talk about baseball. Nails on a chalkboard. Painful. ******* painful.
 
Mad Dog got me legit heated.

Would have gone to jail in that moment if I had heard this man say such things in my presence.

“Mad dog” is Mike Francesca’s old partner. Francesca is the original Canes hater. Re-watch the ‘91 Cotton Bowl for a refresher.
