Bama gets upset by USC, UNC beats UGA, FSU embarrasses Ole **** and Clemson annihilates Auburn.

Obviously some schadenfreude based hope here (especially in the Bama tilt) but not as far-fetched as one may initially think based on the more than usual garbage level of QB's in that conference this year. Nonetheless, can you imagine Ol' Finebaum's show on Monday & Tuesday following a weekend like this?

Rooting for FSU and UNC to get smoked.. Rooting for Clemson I like Dabo.. Want FSU to lose but would love to have them undefeated and top 3 when the come to us Oct 8th to ruin their season...

Will not matter. As soon as each beats one SEC team it will be as if they are undefeated.

I want everyone we play to win until the play us. That is how we use to feel and I am going with it.
 
Torn on UNC/UGA - I really want UGA to rough up UNC and start them off 0-1. On the other hand, I also want to see Kirby Smug humiliated as much as possible...

Yeah, I'm not very confident about UNC in that game although UGA just named Lambert the starter and he's junk. I'd absolutely love for Curby to get smashed out of the gate though just so we can see that fanbase lose their **** and missing Richt.

ACC goes 3-0 vs the SEC.
Obviously, I'd like to see FSU lose but I wouldn't mind college game day coming to town. If we're undefeated and LSU or Florida drops one we'd get it.
 
We need the ACC to win as much as possible to validate strength of schedule. Sucks, but gotta pull for ACC schools across the board.

Clemson, UNC and FSU are all better than their opponents. At least on paper. The ACC should win those games.

Bama and LSU should win theirs.

If we are both unbeaten, we have a shot. New coach, top line QB, new pro stadium ... the hype could be there.

Exactly. LSU vs Florida will be the main competition so if either of those teams aren't looking good we can get it

Strength of schedule for who exactly? Clemson or FSU doesn't need it. They are the only two hopefuls to get to the final four.

I just can't pull for FSU because of the ACC. I hate everything about them. I'd rather them have no wins when we play them, and they don't get their first win of the season until week 11.

Sophie's Choice type of scenario. I see what you're saying but I usually prefer (when I think we have a decent team) for a loss at our hands to be extra painful and meaningful so I usually prefer a team to come in unbeaten or in the midst of a successful season. Like I'd never openly root for a rival but I'd reserve my venom for when they play us and then for subsequent misery after.
