There were 1-2 effort plays that made me believe this team is different.

1) Horton catch on duck from ward on hard hit
2) 4th down strepo catch
3) Riley Williams getting up off the ground to catch the ball from Ward on the miracle pitch.

Just a game for the canes history books.

X cheeks catch (Pause) on 4th down I think was a bigger play considering how much time would have been left in the game had he not come up with the first down catch.

Very good question. after Arroyo’s first catch I felt we would continue to explosive the mismatch. But we also had to help the OT’s so maybe the TE’s had to help more with pass protection.

My snide remark is we kept them in to block because OL was getting abused. It’s why Reilly was there for wards shovel.
