THE STARTER

Damien Martinez

This is going to be a very very good room if Fletcher can play. I think the depth behind him is a good complement to Martinez, but we'd have a RB duo the likes of which we haven't seen in decades.

CWH looks like a hard gainer.

He’s been here 7-months and hasn’t gained as much weight as the others (less than 15lbs). If he’s 180lbs right now I’d be surprised.

Kids got skill though. If he doesn’t get into the high 180’s by the end of this year, he’ll be a transfer candidate. He’d be really good at the G5 level where the game is less physical.

The addition of Lyle to this class was just outstanding. Really an amazing RB room. Combine those guys with the WR's and look out.

In college football, the kids who have 3 standard deviation speed mixed with a football skillset have accentuated ability for a number of reasons. Chris Johnson has that with his speed. To have a guy who can go 6 on any handoff or pass get 12 touches per game is a massive advantage for Miami. He will need to be accounted for at all times and will stress defenses to their limits. It will be a real mistake not to game plan him into each game. I am not worried about his size at the college level.

Fletcher and Martinez is a heck of a duo, assuming Fletcher can get to 100%. That combo can wear a defense out by 4th quarter. Excited to see what Lyle can do
