Here is a thread after we beat 3 awful teams and got by Georgia Tech with the help of 2 defensive td's.

How did expectations change so much after we played 4 games against teams that we definitely should have beaten.Why did everyone suddenly turn on Coach Richt and Kaaya? Before the season people were saying 7-5,8-4..ect....All of a sudden there were predictions of 12-0 and playoffs.We will get there but we are not there yet. Kaaya is one tough dude and Richt's win record in the SEC speaks for itself.Have some patience and chill out with all the nastiness.Rivalry games are always close no matter the records or the rosters.Even when we were rolling we needed FSU to miss FG's to win several games.Those all could have went the other way.I think we will have a really hard time with NC and especially VT on a short week. All of a sudden Richt can't coach and Kaaya is terrible....lol .Everyone is doing their best. Keep that in mind before you trash the players who are man enough to wear that U.Carry on.

If Richt's play calling doesn't improve we might be lucky to get to 8-4. Virginia is the only game going forward which I think is a surefire win. UNC will be tough. VT on the road on short rest is almost surely a loss. ND we should beat but it's not a guarantee. Pitt's running game is legit. And NC State and Duke are both not pushovers.

I said in the initial prediction thread from July that I thought we'd go 9-3 with a shot at 10-2. Changing that to 8-4 after the dismissals was probably an overreaction on my part.

Alas, 8-4 now looks much more realistic anyway.

Those people are foolish. If you are right now rooting for your prediction of losses to come true ahead of rooting for the team to win, you can't really call yourself a Hurricane fan.

Now in previous years that would've been fine because of Golden. I was actively rooting for losses in 2014 and 2015 to get rid of Golden. But now Richt is here and he's going to be here for a long time no matter what. Rooting for losses accomplishes nothing. We just need to hope he figures it all out.

Richt's play calling was REALLY bad the other night. I mean really bad. And his scheme as a whole has been perplexing.

I think the Kaaya stuff on the other hand has gone too far. He was likely playing concussed and overall didn't have a terrible game. The INT was awful but his two touchdowns to Coley were dimes. His ball placement there was beautiful. He needs to play better but some guys on here are going way too far with their criticism. Not everyone can be Tom Brady. Kaaya has the tools to be really good, but I don't think he'll ever be elite. We need to accept that.

Why is VT a sure loss to you guys? I don't see us losing to them. They got routed by the only good team they played. No other team on the schedule will have a dline like ours.
