Searles

Kehoe had his time at the top. Nobody can deny that, but the game has passed him by.

Searles has done what exactly?

LMFAO

Look at our tackle depth now and say the problem wasn’t searels.

I pray you’re trolling.
You feel free to look at our tackle depth. While I look at that, look at the prospects who have come out of miami, broward, palm beaches etc(our recruiting base) any of the surrounding areas richt would let us focus on and tell me where there is room for improvement from some huge country ***(like Jethro bodine level of country)white dude to hit on elite or even **** good prospects(while ur at it throw in the kids who wanted a pay day too.) If I'm not being clear I'll spell it out for u. I dont care if jesus is our offensive line coach. If jesus is told to recruit oline out of this area he will NEVER succeed on consistent basis. 9.9 kids out of this area are severely undersized as oline and they soft. Dont have that kind of grit that nesta does and the ones that do have small arms etc. Kids with the build we need to really succeed dont come from this climate. If what I'm saying doesnt compute I dont know what to tell you. Just look at the schools that consistently have good oline play. Several common factors. #1 they spend what's necessary on any national recruits. #2 they focus on big *** corn fed country boys(like searles and what he relates to obviously). On top of all that searles is very direct and didnt sugar coat ****. These kids want their hands pat while they're corrected. They wanna be coddled.

never thought I'd see the day where you would be defending someone on our offensive staff from last season

Some people choose not to accept reality. I'm not gonna say ur not with it here but question for u... Say at ur job you have a boss that wants great results done his way at all times. He tells you what to wear and what to say. You dont think that hampers you? Here's reality Searles is a big *** corn fed white boy being told all hes allowed to recruit is mainly consistent of these undersized entitled ****eating city kids as offensive lineman. These kids are from areas where people like him are (to put it very nicely)considered Klan members or just laughed at for how that slow *** country mentality comes off. Who do you think (that's a good prospect who everyone around the country comes to see) is gonna take searles as serious as someone they can relate to? Guess well see how he does at unc and u can make ur own choice.
Always respect your posts.

I don't have the access you're privy to, so I'll have to take your word for it.

All I can judge him on as a fan is the consistent failure to even settle on 5 Olinemen, let alone put a good unit on the field. He's also left us starting two FR at OT because he couldn't develop any of the upper classmen.

Maybe he's actually a phenomenal Oline coach, handcuffed by Richt's recruitment policy, and he'll be fantastic in Chapel Hill. I guess time will tell. I wasn't sorry to see him go though.

I mean, we hired a WR coach from a team that doesn’t throw the football because Enos coached with him previously at CMU. It’s all about who you know.

U know what's even crazier about that? They coached together for less than a year before Stubblefield left for another job. Its was like.. 10 months. I'm trying not to bash the guy but with his resume, "I coached 10 months with Enos" shouldn't have been enough to get the job.

Kehoe was always a terrible OL coach. Even
from 00-02 the offensive line was Miami’s weak link, at least relatively speaking. Have you ever watched the 2003 Fiesta Bowl? Kehoe should have been arrested if he tried to enter the state of Florida after that game.

With that being said, Searles somehow found a way to be even worse than Kehoe was.

My point was that Kehoe has laurels to rest on.

Yep. It gets lost in the discussion because of the Terry Porter bull**** PI call, but our OL stacked with future NFL talent got abused that night because OSU ran some basic stunts and Kehoe didn’t know how to adjust.

I wouldn't say he'll be fantastic at all. But I think he could've done far better. But regardless ****em. Hes dead to me. I just think in general fans need to learn more who's responsible for our successes & our failures. Is what it is though. Hopefully barry will have the freedom to fix this line on his terms.

What was his excuse at vt? There were complaints about him there. Uga and texas too. Every stop since lsu has complained about him.
Brother I respect your opinion so I'm not gonna argue about this. As I've stated numerous times I'm not aware of the intricacies of the offensive line. Dont know **** about it. So I take the word of numerous people I know who all initially had glowing revues of him and spoke so highly. The amusing part is two of those individuals now have so much negative to say in bmac & joachin. Both told me to my face about him. The other side of the coin applies to the coaches yall gave so much credit to. Like banda his unit did good so he must be a great coach. Problem is I know the man and hes a simpleton. A ****** moron who dont know **** about football. Literally his room goes to rumph for coaching & advice. Yet all the same experts say rumph is a ****eater who doesnt deserve a job. If it wasnt for Mike this scheme would never work as this staff is built. Same token applies how everyone said Malik broke all the records,he is this he is that yet same people say how horrible that moron lil Johnny is. Not saying it's not accurate that hes a moron and simpleton. But it's the same arguement. It is a team game for a reason.

What laurels? Costing Miami a national championship?
Deserved or not, he is able to say he was part of all five national championships. Searels has LSU 2003 where he inherited the line.

I'm not saying Kehoe was a great coach, but he absolutely accomplished more here than Searels.

@IndayArtHauz clearly hes a troll. Yall should adopt the motto of under armour. YOU MUST PROTECT THIS HOUSE. Round all these peoples up.

Rarely does it workout in your favor when you have to have underclassmen, especially freshman, starting on the O line or D line. Unless they are an absolute stud coming in they need the conditioning program to add strength and time to hone their technique.

It speaks volume on not just the recruiting failures but also development. We don't have at least one upperclassmen that can beat out a true freshman that wasn't highly regarded coming out of high school? It's a combination to have a successful team; recruiting, strength and conditioning, technique, scheme, and probably most important is player motivation.

It’s not a necessity.
