Searels to UNC

How does this guy continuously get respectable jobs? I wish I could suck at work and have no fear of someone else scooping me up in less than a month for probably around half a million

He's not a bad coach. Sometimes it doesn't work out for a number of reasons. Diaz was a giant flop at Texas, and got a lot of blame before he was fired. But look at him now. HC at Miami. Searles has been good before, he will probably be good again. Bad fit at Miami.
Searels has never been good.

I know for a fact a lot of people on staff felt Searels got unnecessary criticism. While he wasn’t the right man for the job, it’s simply because he doesn’t fit our personnel nor did his style fit the offense.

In the right system, which it was obvious to many on staff he was not in, his players would do much better. It also doesn’t help his linemen clearly were not getting proper strength training.

In short, he wasn’t right for us and I’m happy to start fresh, but don’t be surprised if gets better results with Mack Brown.

Who gives a f8uK!!!! Seriously why even post this tidbit of crappy information. Especially since good ol' boy Stacy was arguably speaking Miami's WORST offensive offensive line coach since at least the SEVENTIES! dUh.

Probably looks like a good hire if you are UNC fan. Nice resume.

Food for thought when speaking definitively on coaching search without inside knowledge.
