Nice man, decent man, consistent, and a very good coach but I’m not sure he’s championship Caliber at a Miami level. Some will call me a troll and that’s fine, but I have concerns. I think the guy is a 9-10 win coach -which is AWESOME if you’re Michigan or Georgia, but Miami is just different. That won’t work here.
I WANT to believe, but I just don’t know. I see many things that’s concerning (schottenheimer styled playcalling, mediocre defense)

Silly post. Jinx has no bearing on a teams inability to win a championship.Every single sports team in Georgia is cursed, it's like the Red Sox, but for a state. They can't win if it's handed to them.
Only if we reach Top 5 level consistently in terms of recruiting and preseason ratings. The low end of that range, like the 4 and 5 teams, typically are assigned odds like 7-1 or 8-1 to win the title.
So that is logically manageable if Richt coaches another decade or more.
However, if we get stalled in the current range closer to 9 or 10th on the preseason rankings and preseason odds list, that is more like 20-1 or 25-1 odds in a typical year.
Theoretically you are 3 times less likely to win a title from the #1 0 slot than the #4 or #5 slot. That's an easy way to look at it.
My answer is No. I don't expect a Canes national championship under Richt. But I don't make it as much of an underdog as a year ago.

If he insists on continuing to call offensive plays....I have serious doubts.
The sample size with Richt is large enough at this point that we can pretty definitively say what he is.....a good/solid NCAA coach. No better , no worse. He needs good coordinators around him and right now his stubbornness with regards to play calling is beginning to annoy me.

Serious Q, do you think Saban gets 10 wins with this roster?

What you are saying is he hit his ceiling in year 2. This is before seeing how this and the next year's recruiting classes pan out. This self entitled BS needs to stop. You are following a program that won its first bowl game in a decade during Richt's first year. If you can't enjoy the University of Miami improving its record, then find another team. Not every coach is Nick Saban.
If you're objective, what has Richt done at Miami that makes you think he can't win a National Championship here?
