UF's defense was elite and that whole team played poorly against Houston. Not to mention he was injured in the 2nd qtr. I'm not saying he was great but he was productive. With Cook and all their talent that's all they need. As an opposing fan, I'd rather him sit and let the freshman get rattled.

He was only good against a very bad Syracuse squad and Chattanooga. Cook is the entire offense. Maguire was very pedestrian. Syracuse was fools gold. To be honest if we played fsu and he was starting instead of Golson. We win big. He played against arguably the 3 easiest opponents on fsu schedule then played horrible against Clemson, Houston and UF. He couldn't convert the most basic passes against either of those teams. Too be honest he caused them acc championship game. That being said I'm not saying Francios is better. I'm just saying Maguire isn't good and did not make fsu offense better.

Without the NCAA's assistance, when games are played straight up, we own them. That being said, nobody has made any excuses for our coaching as it was appalling the past 6 years.
