It shouldn’t be difficult to pick up an Air Raid.

There’s only a few plays in it.

To struggle in it does not mean he can’t ever be good. But it’s a huge red flag.

Or contact balance - we’ve seen guys completely miss holes (vision) or get tripped up or tackled with minimal contact. 4.4 speed doesn’t mean **** if you’re running into your OL or getting tackled right away

The tackling on this play seemed Miami vs UNC bad… appeared more about tackling being bad than Fletcher being Adrian Peterson…

I hope we see Parrish get less reps as the year progresses. Parrish has done everything he has as asked of him admirably. But he’s not next level at any specific thing. Deejay is a guy who lacked topline speed with great vision that overall is next level. I just don’t see that in Parrish. The other three guys all bring something that is special IMO.

I like Parrish a lot. He gets 4-6 yards per carry it seems. Great guy to have but he shouldn’t be a lead horse in an elite offense. I’m excited to see how our Rb room shakes out.

If we can get any type of snaps from Zion and our o-line can stay healthy we may actually put up more than 21pts per game

A few positive notes on the event:
- saw some fans pouring brown liquor at 8am to get the day going - I approve of this and it’s proactive preparation for our move to the B1G and tailgating with northerners that can hold their booze

- Duke was walking amongst the fans for a while

- I felt it was fairly well organized

- Vernon Carey looked great. So healthy looking that our fans had no idea who he was (he was one of two alumni signing autographs - Lamar Thomas was the other and more popular of the two, but there also could have been confusion as to how the lines worked)

- Player autographs were split into 4 groups. One of the people working the event told us we could bounce between groups because Mario came in and said it was ok so fans and players got the most exposure to each other (for further context: the RB/DB group was across from the TE/ST/Mario group)

- Mario was engaging with the fans at the session, joking about the heat and said he wants to make the stadium a real home field advantage (this was after asking me where we were from and me telling him l’ll be back in 3 weeks for the opener - and not a ticket pitch)

- the RB/DB group were all engaging and friendly, especially to the kids… Fletcher seems like a great guy.

- Flagg was there (just to trigger all you weirdos that hate the players)
