Looking more and more like rosier might be the starter. If he is then let's go!. If he has improved on his deficiencies then why not? Im admittedly a perry fan but may the best man win the job to lead our canes

We all want Perry to start... but Rosier is doing that well then we found our guy. We just need him to do his job.

As long as Richt puts Harley or THomas in a formation where blocking is not required, I have no concerns running with these guys if Braxton, Ahmmon or Mullins come out. WR is a position where raw athleticism (combined with good hands) trumps everything else, and true Freshmen have the best chance at having the most immediate positive impact. That's not the case for Evidence, as he needs S&C to use his body as a weapon. But the smurfs can go the moment they get the routes and playbook down.

Harley ran with 1s in place of AR. As per multiple sauces. Did well. What a pleasant surprise.

Where is Jeff Thomas ??

He practiced this week but he was nursing a hamstring last week before the 1st scrimmage. Pete said on the podcast that Harley has been out playing him though but you got to remember he missed like 4 practices due to the hamstring injury too

You know, those aren't bad stats for any of the Top 3 QBs. I know they're going against our 2s, but our 2s are probably as good as 9 or 10 of the teams we'll face. And Richt said he'd put each of them with the 2nd string offense to run against the 1s as well. So I think they're getting as good a look as they can pre-season.

I thought Rosier wouldn't be able to avoid the freelancing that always got him in trouble before, and that Shirreffs would win the role. But it looks like Malik is stepping up. Congrats to all of them.

Attempts tell the story.

It's between Rosier and Shirreffs, but it's Rosier's to lose.

As one would logically expect: the veteran QB with good athletic skills and running ability, that's been in the system for a few years, and who has actual game experience, should be the one leading - and he is. Way too much to ask a non-early-enrollee freshmens, no matter how talented, to come in and take over in a few short weeks.
