SCRIMMAGE 2

Guess we'd better get used to Rosier throwing at least 1 pick in every game.

He'll throw 4 vs FSU

Rosier's pick came on throw where he got hit as he was releasing it. Shirreffs came on a deep ball that he gave the defender a better chance of getting it than his WR. Richt said that.

So it appears in Richt's eyes Rosier was not at fault and Shirreffs was clearly at fault.

Props to you guys & everyone else who have been high on Rosier.

I went back & forth all offseason with this QB race, when Pete said Perry would start back in January I didn't think it was possible, but as time went on it seemed like it could based on everything we would here from the insiders.

At the end of day, Richt can't force a TF QB to be the starter if he ain't ready. Rosier been here for 4 years, it's either now or never with him.

If he can stay consistent & not turn the ball over too much it makes sense to let him basically play his Senior season (I know he's a Red Junior) out while Perry gets ready for next year.

Unless Rosier is just terrible vs FSU, he'll be the starter for the whole season & I'm good with that, he has the opportunity to finally help us win the Coastal... I'm in 100% support of him, lets ride!

Joe Jackson had 5 sacks. Playing him against 2nd team LT is cruel.

Not sure why people are assuming Malik at this point. Still seems like a tight race. Perry still not ready for prime time.

The numbers are a little bit eye opening. Using PFF QB Calculator - Using NFL Calculator because who df uses College QBR I was surprised to see this. I'm not really on any bandwagon after Perry performance went copper in the scrimmage. I'm more on the club of who ever can get us to 10 wins and ACCCG should start. This is the most important season since 2010 after we went 9-4 in '09, had the #1 class in '08, and thought we had our HC and next great QB before they flopped.

I'll continue to update until the last scrimmage is in the books.

So, what do y'all think about the competition now? Did the numbers change your opinion a bit? Still sticking with your guy? DISCUSS!

Rosier was picked by Bandy and Richt didn't blame him because it wasn't due to a bad decision or throw.

Thats whats up Liberty City El... I dont think he is ultra talented... but he has that "it" that I don't believe our last Qb had, and he can make the big throw.... He will throw some picks but he is a gamer and can make the big play.. He can pick up 3rd down conversions with his legs... He won't be completing 65% of his passes but he will make the play when he has too. His success will be totally on the OC putting him in positions to succeed... We willl see what these coaches do mane.. i am stoked for the season

Evan is only accurate on passes under 10 yards.

Oh you were at the practice??

No but I know someone who was and that is what they told me.

Sauces

13 completions for 227 yards.

Sauces indeed.

17.5 ypp

FSU is going to need a stop to get the ball back and rosier is going to tuck it and pick up the first down, breaking their back and winning the game.

i agree

if evan is in it makes the game easy for fsu and they will have less ground to cover and have no respect for him

Will be interesting to see what Richt does if he names Rosier the starter and we go 11-1 or 10-2. Would he bench the senior next year in favor of RS Frosh/true sophomore Perry?

If Rosier is the starter and is for the remainder of the year, Perry needs to redshirt.

FSU struggles with mobile QB's. Rosier will have to use his legs if we have a chance. Not sure our Offense is built for that.
