Yea cause we've never seen a linebacker bite on a play action fake and the qb throw it right over the middle to the tight end or wr...lol that was never my argument I guarantee u Gus wasn't an option on that pass play...this was not to bash Shaq just was to bash the idiots who thought Gus was running the ball on that play it was obvious that Gus let up on that fake just like every running back does on play action passes

It doesnt matter if Gus was an option bro. Thats totally irrelevant. Gus went to run a route and nobody in this thread said gus was running the ball, only that he got rocked. It was you and your crew talking about " gus didnt have the ball" yall brought that up to defend our point of gus being soft and it backfired.

And every rb does not let up after a playaction. Where tf do you see that? Nowadays rb have a responsibility after the fake. Either passblocking or running a route. Gus ran a route wad unaware of his defender and got crushed.

Albeit, a 2 second clip, its still more proof of Gus being soft and lacking awareness.

Playaction pass... rb does not let up. Throws a key block.. this is what you see out of most playaction passes.

Richt gave gus a pass option wrinkle in that play. Sure gus wasnt evet getting the baall but who cares.

Why is he running routes without awareness? Why is he lacking physicality or taking plays off?

You didnt see any rb, worth a starting job, stop. Unless the ball comes out extremely fast... most rb look to pass block after the fake. Youll have to show me video proof of good and great RBs stopping after a playfake.

And diving over the line is better than letting a true freshman make you his bich.


Of course i have no comment on Gus YAC. Cuz gus aint getting yak against any team worth a fart. Ive seen all of Gus games. Every snap. He aint do jack shid vs fsu or even UVA for that matter. But you stand by them weak *** numbers against cupcakes. And yes cinci and vatech were cupcakes at that time.

I don't think Gus is soft...Shaq don't think Gus is soft...as a matter of fact they have to go hard at all the backs or the backs will try and go thru them..Shaq say all the backs are strong and run hard

lol so he only gets credit against runs against two teams even though its a 13 game season?? lol look mane gus didnt even play against FSU or Virginia in 2014 he was hurt those 2 weeks if i remember correctly. so what exactly are you talking about ? We play in the ACC all those games matter

Well here is to hoping he isnt caping for Gus cuz thats his teammate. Cuz i dont expect Shaq to say he is soft if even its clearly evident.

We wont truly know if the tiger has changed his stripes until the season starts.

Then, when im proven wrong, ill gladly eat crow and take my lumps.

Shaqsonville's opinion won't stop the Gus hate from flowing. Neither will Gus leading us in yards after contact.

By the way, since when did guys taking vicious hits and hopping up and running to huddle for the next play become "soft" anyway? Gus has taken some kill shots from some violent players in practice and always answers the bell. That used to be called tough.

im a fair guy. i'll accept any visual evidence that proves gus is soft and then consider changing my mind. so far all ive seen are opinions based on a 1 sec clip, that if holds up as evidence for softness alone, would doom just about every running back that's ever played the game to being soft.

i'll need more evidence or a better definition that doesnt include literally every running back ever.

The Gus haters can certainly wrongly claim he's not a top flight RB. That's pure opinion stuff and reasonable minds can differ.

I have no idea where this goofy soft moniker appeared. Dude has taken killshots and bounced right back. They abuse him for taking killshots, yet they call him soft even though he always bounces back up and gets back to it.
