Scott Frost should be next in the chopping block

Frost had one year recruiting, those were mostly O'Leary's players. Frost did do a good job, but don't twist it.

Heupel has been there two years now and he is playing a true freshman at qb. They're sitting pretty good, no drop off from Frost.
Frost played a Freshman QB too in Milton. And it was largely Milton who got Gabriel to follow him to UCF, so Frost gets an assist there lol.

I absolutely disagree with U Cane man. In other words, how come the VAST MAJORITY of Nebraska fans were shouting to Scottsbluff and all points between there and Lincoln, that Nebraska was going to finish " 10-2 or 9-3 " this season.

And WHY did the major CFB media-nexus vote Nebraska in ALL the preseason CFB publications?

Fans are delusional. My comments were on how Frost sold himself initially compared to how Taggart sold himself initially. I didn't mention fans/media. Frost tried to temper enthusiasm. He didn't come in with a lot of rhetoric. Taggart did because he over estimated the talent at FSU.

"deserves"? what the **** does that mean? football coaches have some sort of entitlement?
football is about winning and losing and a coach's success or failure is easily measurable.
so according to you, a coach is entitled to a minimum amount of time being paid millions of dollars even if the ******* has a clear record of failure by losing games ..... would you think the same thing if you were the poor sucker paying 100% of that
loser's salary? no way you could honestly answer yes to that question.

This is no different than a new CEO taking over a failing company. You're not likely going to see a major immediate turnaround.

Scotty Jane Frost didn't chit-can the delusional fan base UNTIL after Ohio St. literally BYTCHED SLAPPED his good ol' boys!

And I'm not yapping about fan base either! The national media hyped and fawned and had orgasms about Nebraska prior to the season.

The bottom line is I never seen such a program which gets so much hype, accolades and all that. When their glory days ended after the 1997 season. And a prime example was the Rose Bowl game! F'in Cornsucker's didn't DESERVE to play in that game. But that's ok. Because Miami SHAMED the entire state and other Cornsucker fans across the country. YEAH!!!!!!!!!

And fans overrated Taggart.

NU was a mess when Frost started and still is. Some of it is his fault as HC, and they've been hit hard by injuries this season. A few NU fans I know are disappointed in this season but understand, at least so far. Frost will need a breakthrough season in 2020, 8-9 wins.

We agree on Nebraska NEVER should have been in the title game against Miami. But, Frost in his initial press conference after being named coach did say it would take time to get things turned around and that things would get worse before they got better. As for the national media, they touted Taggarts hiring too so they are suspect.

Now, does Frost deserve more time? IDK, Nebraska is a tough spot to be successful. The local recruiting ground isn't fertile. Frost is getting a long leash based off his brief run at UCF. He may better at a smaller program, non P5.

Yeah, Frost has to show significant improvement next season. That Ohio State game showed how far away that program is for being competitive in the Big 10. Plus PJ Fleck's success at Minnesota isn't helping Frost.

Frost and Taggart aside, how has Chad Morris kept his job at Arkansas? He's worse than both of them.

Try as you might. Frost's job is not in any jeopardy for the foreseeable future.

Frost didn't promise immediate results and correctly indicated that it would be a total rebuild. Surely they are also working to re-establish their old out of state recruiting areas.

Nebraska's return will undoubtedly be slow..... For now, those who matter at Nebraska accept that.

Anyway, i really don't understand the concern over him or any other outside coaches performance and jobs.:noidea:....we have our own issues to address

Don’t even waste your time on that fool go canes MDP. The dude is the dumbest poster on here just like he was the dumbest poster on Canespace. All he did was add two !! To his handle but it’s the same idiot. Anything common sense said on here he’ll be there like clock work to disagree with it. Lol they clearly finally must have thrown his dumb@$$ out of Canespace so now we’re stuck with the ****. He’s literally the guy if you say water is wet he says it’s not, if you say fire is hot he disagrees, you you say the sky is up he says it’s down! Lmao thats the kind of idiot we’re Dealing with here. Plus we all know he’s nothing but a Hecht center mole trying desperately to change public opinion about his incompetent bosses. 😂
Appreciate it Brother... lol

Nebraska has looked worse than FSU the past two years, and he should be shown the door just like Taggart. Nebraska has been awful under Frost, and they’re getting worse week by week.

4-8 last year and on pace for a 4-8 record this year also, in year 2. He should be coaching while wearing a ski mask, because he’s stealing money.

Taggart, Frost and Manny are three peas in a pod.
FSU and Nebraska are two different programs. Nebraska has been down a long time. More talent at FSU

I think Frost is a legitimate coach. Nebraska is a legit rebuild. Dude needs time imo. He would be infinitely better running his system in Florida with the type of athletes we have down here.

Frost will get at least 5 years. He's their golden boy from the Osbourne era.

Plus they sucked before he got there.

Ohio State is far ahead of anyone in the Big 10, the exception maybe Penn State. Wisconsin was supposed to be a test for the Buckeyes and the game wasn’t even close. I’m not sure I’d judge anyone (almost) by getting whipped by OSU. And f-them, by the way.

NU hasn’t been the same since they hired Bill Callahan to ‘modernize’ their offense.

CornSUCKER are " sitting in the tree, " they climbed up too. So I don't feel the least bit sorry for them!

Oh. And one more notion. Nebraska bolted the Big 12 because they was ENVIOUS over Boomer Sooner and The Eyes of Texas being the POWER BROKERS in the conference.

Nevertheless, Cornsucker's always SUCKED in men's hoops and baseball! And their football team played 3rd fiddle to the teams in the South Divison of that fly-over conference.

Chit, y'all Cane fans WITNESSED what happened to the CornSUCKER football when they played Miami. And dig this Nebraska absolutely NEVER should have played Miami. NEVER. F', they didn't even win the Big 12 conference that season and was MOLESTED by Colorado the last game of the season for both teams. :ttdg2m10mxvzxan.jpg:

P.S. Even The Pirates Red Raider teams BYTCHED SLAPPED Nebraska two different times. Major SEVERE BEAT DOWNS on Nebraska! Yes.
Wuz that out loud? 😶

Taggart also inherited a team that had recruited top 5 classes year after year and was loaded with talent.
This is the key. Taggart had talent and they got worse, especially the culture. At least with Kelly and Frost, they have turned programs around and won at previous jobs. They have true rebuilds. Quit trying to make this about race.
