Sucks for Frost. He killed it at Oregon and made Chip K look good. He killed it at UCF. His style was always a horrible fit for NEB and everyone around him advices him to NOT take that job. He would have killed it at a southern (east) school.

You cannot win at NEB anymore. It’s not happening. And his style will NEVER work at a place like NEB

Someone will hire a great OC and possibly HC in frost….IF he can collect himself. That job at NEB sucked the life and swag out of Frost

He deserves another shot, but he will probably need to be the OC at a big school for a year or two and then re-emerge.

I wouldn't be overly upset if/when Gattis leaves, Frost came in for a couple of years and killed it for Mario, then took another HC job.

UCF a gridiron misery? UCF won the BCS Fiesta bowl prior to Frost taking over, producing NFL QB, WR, OL, RB’s, DB’s. Miami RB’s Coach Kevin Smith (NFL RB) is a UCF player who played in those games.

He really lost his swag and identity
at NEB. That was a horrible move for him as a style of coach. The Gators were wanting to hire him and he would have been a scary fit at UF. It will be interesting to see if he can ever regain that confidence he had. A LOT of people around him strongly advices him to not take that NEB job

He looks like a shell of himself at this point. Dude was Fuggen wearing hoodies and jog pants on the sidelines….he went from sharp as **** to dopey mopey.

He’s not a p5 coach. He’s been horrific beyond scheme there.
 
LOL. Uhhh why dont you sit Frost in a room and say you'll either be let go Oct 1 for 7.5M or let go now at a buy-out of 9M. Pick?

Save yourself ~6M. And if he's so insanely stubborn he wants to coach until Oct 1 while getting destroyed the next few weeks (Oklahoma next week), you remind him he will only further ruin his Nebraska legacy and future coaching career. And let him.

Not that hard to negotiate. What a joke Nebraska is. AD should be fired for this alone.

lol Urban Meyer would crash and burn there. Everyone will. You cannot win at NEB. CFB shifted a while ago and places like NEB were left behind. Currently another generational shift is taking place in CFB and schools that previously were good, will be left behind, that is why NIL scares the **** out of certain power schools and SEC type places….They understand that this “Shift” is out of their area of control and removes them from positions of power. This has happened periodically throughout the history of CFB. I’m fact, that is how Miami grew into a power….through a shift of change. Places like NEB are likely forever left behind. Grave yards for coaches

There have been a lot of narratives in the nfl media that special teams doesn’t matter as much anymore…eoescislly Boston media questioning the amount of special teamers the pats keep on the 53 man roster

Kevin Smith didn't play in the that Fiesta Bwl...he came later
