It's amazing how one bad fall for people of advanced age can spiral into a rapid and severe overall decline so here's to hoping Schnelly makes a full recovery and this is nothing but an isolated incident.
It also the rehab if there are broken bones. My grandmother was 95 when she broke her hip. Surgery was fine but her body just didn't cooperate with the rehab at 95 y/o.I think its less the fall and more the anesthesia they have to use for the operation, it totally effs your mind.
Yeah, I think at some point your body just responds poorly to any trauma and even starts treating medical care as an addl trauma. Hopefully he didn't injure his hip at all as those injuries seem to be especially brutal and hard to recover from for seniors.I think its less the fall and more the anesthesia they have to use for the operation, it totally effs your mind.
