Has the background, defensive minded and can mold a team to fit his hard nose style. The alumni will push extremely hard. I think he would be great!

he turned them down. i dont like it. he would be a 9-10 win guy. maybe could do better, has more potential than golden but i dont love him. Better than mario tho
 
His defense would kill the weak ACC

He would just need to hire a good OC. Good hire IMO
 
GOOD hire if he is given the resources($$$$) to put together a great staff I read a great article where's he's really evolved and taken a lot from the TB experience we'll see I'm though in the BBB bandwagon

They already are. Might as well get the most bang for our buck.
 
I personally do not know anything about the guy, other than he was an assistant at Miami, but I have heard Tuberville's name thrown out there before. Well, also he was the HC at Auburn.
 
We could do worse than Schiano. He was trash at TB but I've heard he has been perfecting his craft ever since he was fired and really trying to learn some more. Miami is different than Rutgers so i think his ceiling would be way higher than what he was doing at Rutgers (which was basically mediocre 9-10 wins here and there)

Our defense would dominate, and I think he could attract recruits with his NFL experience. Lot of connections for staff from ex miami players/coaches to people from his days in NFL. He would bring back Barrow, move Hurlie to DB, I think Kevin Patrick could be the DL coach.

I would only support this if we had a good offensive coordinator.
 
He would be a home run hire which would bring back Mario for recruiting and keep Coley for QB mining

Defense would be Miami style. Being fired in the NFL is not a career ending event.

Butch and Pete got canned.

I would love Schiano at Miami!!!

Plus dude is smart and has NFL contacts

Tuberville, Schiano, Davis. Its a travesty that we more than likely can have a pick of the 3 and we persist with El Foldo. Most spineless admin in big time CFB.
