I know me and alot of other folks want to BBB but it's not going to happen. I know they are not going to hire him and butch may be done as a coach because other than fiu a couple years ago nobody is interested.

People are already saying that schiano would be interested in the job and if and when it opens he would likely call miami about the job.

It's a easy hire for them. Has ties to program, won't have to pay a buyout to get him, and even though it's a new ad and president they wanted schiano twice in the past.

Maybe schiano would bring butch with him because he did give him a job in tampa bay.

now this is the more likely scenario if Butch doesnt get a HC job, he comes in as DC

I cant take schiano twice in my life.
Get off his nuts,plz.

And he already politely turned us down before. Even we were still above average. Guy is a bum.

I'm not a schiano fan at all to be honest but you have to be realistic and that's likely what the administration is going to do.

The only names that are constantly being thrown around are schiano, chud, and cristobal.

I bet he ends up at Maryland and then Penn State.

He might get the maryland job but the ad said he wants a coach that runs a spread offense because he wants excitement to put asses in the seats.

Ahhh, didn't hear that. I still bet under sodium pentathol that Schiano would admit that the Penn State job is his dream job and I can see them going a more hard nose direction once their current car salesman is disposed of. Maybe he'd do Alfredo a solid and let him coach TE's on his staff there.

I don't understand the negativity toward Schiano. I'm from the NY metro area and watched him take a farce of a program from 2-9 to 9-2 in five years. He brought a lot of excitement to the area. The stadium was expanded. And he was playing better competition -- like Miami -- than Golden did in the Mid-American conference.
At Miami in the heyday, he led a strong defense.
There may be better names out there and he failed in the pros (So did Saban.) But, unless I'm missing something, why isn't he at least a credible candidate?

Always heard has wife hated Miami. That's why he turned down the job when Folden was hired. He sounds like the kind of coach these bozos on the BOT would be looking at, however. Still think they promote Coley or get Cristobal. Hate the thought of ANY of those 3 being hired. They all SUCK and we will continue to be horrible.

Schiano is a solid coach with a ceiling. There is nothing innovative or even exciting about his style or his teams. He's a middle of the B1G guy all the way.

Yes, he would be a huge upgrade from AG, but he's not a good fit for UM imo.

Schiano is number one on their board.

I totally believe that and wont be convinced otherwise
