Brown to West Virginia, and Schiano, one would think, has to be considered a high priority for Temple, considering his ties to the North East.

Fedora is going to end up like the entrepreneurs on Shark Tank who leaves without a deal from a shark because they wouldn't accept and/or entertain a great offer because they waited around for the "perfect" offer, which in the end, never came!

Schiano was here for literally 18 months & yet the guy is talked about in Miami like he's Jimmy Johnson or something.

He's not even among our top 5 DC's in school history, why the fck is his name always brought up?

And I'm not saying by the fans, I know most of yall don't like him either, I'm talking by people connected to the program & within the administration, Schiano's name is always thrown around as a candidate it's fckin bizarre lol

Probably because if he hadn't jumped on the Rutgers job, he'd be a national championship winning coach. He definitely would have gotten the job ahead of Coker. Still, I think only local media makes the ties to him all the time. Nobody nationally remembers he coached at Miami.

Didnt he win a bunch of coaching awards one year... like 2005 or 06 for his job at Rutgers. Hes a pretty good DC, but I agree he has more reputation than results... he's a Butch guy, so people like that too.

He won at Rutgers as soon as Miami, Va Tech & BC left the Big East, when we were there he wasn't winning sh*t.

Rutgers benefitted from playing in a dead football conference in the mid to late 2,000's.

Just the last 2 years, lost Penn St game in 99. Directly responsible for the debacle in Washington on 2000, ugh..
