My man, we think that b/c we’ve been out recruiting our ACC Coastal members by a wide margin & it’s not even close!! Lol. I promise u if Urb, Nick, Dabo, Norvell, Smart, ****, Butch or Mack Brown were to get a hold of the talent we have, we dominate the Coastal. We make teams look good; we made GT look good, but GT was a 3 win team b/c they are a 3 win team! We made FIU look good, but FIU was a 6 win team, and if they played in a P5, they probably win 4.

WE make teams look better than they are, bro. So Manny is telling us by his off season moves it’s not him or his side of the ball; it’s the O. POSTERS ON HERE have said if our O could score 28 points, we would be ACC Coastal champs. OK, we just hired a top named OC who proved it on the field for SMU. We have no excuses; period.

Every season is it's own. Attributing sucking for so many years doesn't make sense imo.

We really haven't been outrecruiting UNC and VT by much of a margin. But that doesn't mean the coaching hasn't been really ****** too.

Miami - 22Nd

Class of 17:
UNC - 29th
Miami - 12th

Class of 18:
UNC - 20th
Miami - 8th

Class of 19:
UNC - 30th
Miami - 27th

Avg recruiting classes over the past four years:

UNC - 28th in the nation
Miami - 17th in the nation

Starting anew:
Class of 20:
UNC - 19th
Miami - 13th

Now of course, we can’t discount attrition, but per 247, absolutely we’ve out recruited UNC by a wide margin.

Imma Bears, Bulls, WhiteSox, Blackhawks fan, and I follow NONE of those teams like I do my Canes. I’m not a mope, but I spit reality about this team, and yes I hold them accountable for being this **** poor. I’m done w the excuses for incompetence man. This chit ain’t rocket science.

With our talent; bringing in a hot OC who led a top 10 offense, a QB who went for 50 TDs at his last stop, a year older in experience, and all the “alleged” cancers out of the locker room, with this 40th ranked P5 schedule????! We better win 10 games; ****, I’ll settle for 9!!!

If we stumble out the gates going 2-2, 1-3, 0-4; then I would hope someone would have the balls to fire Manny like FSU did Willie T.

Im at 9 wins. Don't have the confidence in ***** to change this on tbe dime. I will exercise patience because he's green. That is if he wins 9....
 
At first I really thought our toughest game was wake forest because of Newman and surrat but Witt Newman transferring I think we look good in every game. I’M NOT SAYING 12-0. But if we play well every game and that’s a big IF, we have a good chance in every game, Michigan state will not be as good as they have been the last 10 years, FSU has a first year coach and we’re at home this year, and the coastal is the coastal.

Ironically, we get up for the bigger games, too. We’ll probably play one of our better games of the year against UNC because everyone will predict a loss. That’s what happened last year when we beat UVA. It’s the games like Wake and Georgia Tech where I see us stepping on our ****s because that’s all we have done for the last 15 years.

Yep, it doesn't matter whether we lost or won every game last year when we play this year. It's over and done. Doesn't mean anyone has to be happy about it, but it's over.

With the offseason moves Manny made, he sure as **** better win 10.

Now we have a The KING as our qb, Lashlee as our OC and everyone on the o-line is coming back plus additional help.

Last year was absolutely embarrassing and a real low point in Miami football. There’s no reason why we should lose any game on this schedule, but most likely I see us losing at least two.

I expect the players to come into the season with a huge chip on their shoulders and take EVERY game serious.

You know you’re my boy RR, but in the grand scheme that’s honestly not that big a spread.


Our W-Ls are pretty much in line with it. Difference maker last year was Howell, who went on to have a dominant freshman season while our QBs floundered.

Michigan State has a mauling O-Line and very good running game which we struggle with. There RB Elijah Collins is the real deal.

North Carolina has a Top 3 QB in college football and they have one one of the top Offensive play callers in football. North Carolina has a real shot at winning 10 games this season.

Virginia Tech returns 20 starters from last year's team that went 8-4 and beat us.

Pittsburgh has a solid Acc team and Returns a ton of starters on a defense that was Top 15 last year.

Wake Forest is well coached and has two 1st round caliber talents with WR Sage Surgatt and Carlos Basham.

Virginia is always a tough game for us as well.

sounds about right, if they show up prepared and play for 60 minutes to me its a huge move forward...
pretty sure CMD can not take ue were we want to go..... tired of mediocrity

A CEO Type HC is only as Good as his Coordinators in my opinion. Lashlee seems to be a Good OC and Baker is a decent enough DC and Diaz can help out when necessary. Hopefully Diaz has learned from his previous mistakes and improves on them. Diaz is only 46 and last season was his first ever being a HC so he's going to make mistakes. The question is will he continue making the same mistakes or fix them. So far with all the new hires and bringing in a new experienced QB it looks like he will not make the same mistake twice.

I think the single biggest issue is the culture, we do not have single minded competitors we used to have in past. Garvin to me personifies the culture. had a very good RS Sophomore season . coasted thru JR. year all the while listening to folks hey you will be a day 2 selection....7th round pick...... too many players seem to think a couple of years on S.Beach and on to NFL riches.
victims of our past ? wrong dynamic on recruits ?
as far as CMD goes, B.Jame was left with a lot of $$$ due to M.Richt generosity to his Alma Mater and wasted money 4M to Temple and over paid an unproven entity . we could have done a whole lot better and till proven other wise lazy hire by B.James
