Scary thing is the talent is as bad as the coaching

Bad coaching can make talent look worse than it actually is. We saw it what Donofrio defense did to those defensive recruits over the years when he was there and we are seeing It offensively with richt/enos the last 2 years. Same situation

The only place I think the talent is truly lacking is on the OLine and QB position besides that the talent is there but the coaching isn't.

We have talent just in certain position.

People will tell you we have loads of talent but a talented team can win in spite of coaching. We just have a bunch of bad evalutions on our team. People will use "we have X amount of stars, bro!" They are right we do but what does it mean if regime after regime they prove to be bust?

We have poor elevations couple with a poor development system.

Where is the talent at WR? Do we even have one physical WR? KJ somewhat, but the rest are a bunch of twinks. The ones that play anyhow. Look at other programs, they are twice our size. Harley, Wiggins, and Pope all still look like high schoolers.

We have a talent problem against Clemson. We don't have a talent problem against Louisiana Tech.

The 2015 defense had 8 guys who are currently in the NFL. They finished 84th. The next year, in a new scheme, they finished 13th. Did they get more talented?

Bad schemes make talented players look stuck in the mud. And bad culture (which starts with the head coach) poisons everything. Unfortunately, we have both problems.
