Scary Terry opted out?

Yep. When a program gets too ****y and thinks they can win no matter the coach, that program is destined for failure. When you have a good coach, HOLD ONTO HIM! They don't grow on trees. Your program is only as good as the coaches you hire.

They were very fortunate to have Jimbo after Bowden. He's no Saban/Meyer/Swinney, but he's a **** good coach who knows how to recruit good talent, develop QBs, and he will keep TAMU a ranked, competitive program in spite of their limitations dealing with Texas and OU in their backyard. Should have just given him what he wanted. Guarantee those idiots in Tally wish they had a do-over.

They've been an abortion mess the past 4 years and will be for another 4 at least. I remember telling some of their younger idiot fans during the Golden days that every program (Bama included) goes through cycles. They legitimately thought they were so immune to having a bad program because 'they were run so well by a strong administration.' I just laughed and shook my head.

Dumbasses... Had to learn the hard way. Reality is, they are going to be even worse next season once the upperclassmen opt out or quit, because Taggart did not restock the shelves and Norvell will not be able to sell recruits on anything. I don't see any young players on that team I fear facing over the next 3-4 years.

Those boys are doomed, and you just hate to see it.
Even Jimbo was doomed, honestly. Had he stayed, he'd be in this same situation. The whole program is rotten, and was starting to stink to high heaven before he left. Now, it might not have been THIS bad, but he wasn't making the tough decisions to clean things up before it got putrid. What a mess they have on their hands, and they deserve every last bit of it.

Not really. Maybe for the kids (if they weren't holes during their recruitment). But as far as the program ...

Word is the admin didn't have his back so he got out of Dodge when he had the chance.

Dumbo was always going to leave.

Imagine living in a town where half the population has railed your wife

But why would you want to be?

Prior to the start of this year Norvell was probably telling him to look at how his RBs produced at Memphis and try to sell him on that.

After watching Saturday's game they might have to start trying to poach recruits from 1AA schools

FSU will look like the last days of Saigon, with all those people trying to get aboard the last US Army helicopters, with all the guys looking to get out of there.

That place is toxic, I dont think Norvell understood what he was getting into
Yea as bad as Shannon was for us after Coker left he purged the program pretty quick. Norvell doesn’t seem like he can do that.

After the start of their season, if any of those FSU players had any worth at the next level, they should opt out.

Don’t worry. Dugans will see him out
At the game, I definitely saw them both going at it and it was heated. When I saw the TV replay, I saw they were going at it as well another time.

Man, that was 1,000% sarcasm just to be clear. Glad they are struggling. Glad they are doomed for the next 5 years. And glad we can run the streak up to 10 in a row, hopefully. I want to totally erase their 'we won 7 straight on you guys' bullsh*t.

The sad part is that he wasn't even the first player with the "scary terry" moniker. He had to copy it from someone else.

Norvell actually praised Marvin Wilson in is press conference today. Said he was "proud of him" and that he did what he could to keep the team involved from the sidelines after he was tossed for targeting.

I guess I missed that from my tv screen....

This is hilarious.

Norvell was at home. My seats for the game were behind the F$U bench.

Wilson didn't do anything special to "keep the team involved".
