Scarlett and Williams

I still don't buy into this FSU would pass on Scarlett till today. They are on him like white on rice. You're nuts if you think they would just ignore him.

Believe what you want but if you don't think FSU wants him, idk what world you live in.

You can't teach his size, speed and power all together. He is a freak, elite in every way. Smoking some good **** if you think he's not a priority for them.

FSU will take their best stab to try and pry him. Go watch Scarlett and how he has played this year and tell me with a straight face they don't want him.

Patrick is the real deal man. Shifty for a big back. Not overrated at all.

I would put Scarlett and Patrick 1a and 1b.

Cook was better prospect than Yearby. Both will be studs but Cook has the higher ceiling.

What I love about Scarlett and he has shown it plenty this year, he's taken his game even further to new levels. Using his strength and size more and adding power running to his game than just his speed and physical gifts in previous years.

He also has not had to take a bunch of carries just to make an impact which I love. He'll take 8-10 carries go for over a 100 and 2+ TDs and just rest for the night.

Scarlett I said before, and I'll say again. I see him ending up as a 5 star after the playoffs and all star games is over. He's taken that senior jump that I saw Cook take last year.

I know I'll take some heat for it like I have in the past. I like Scarlett more than Cook coming out. No Canes Shades. Being real.

Because of the size and speed factor. Which Cook is starting to develop some size and strength now at FSU.

Patrick was literally his entire team this year. Timber Creek fielded a bunch of kids that would barely make most S. Florida JV squads and on his back got them in the playoffs.

He's an Adrian Peterson clone. He's big and shifty with breakaway speed.

Patrick looks bulky and slow to me. IMO he lacks fluidity and looks like LB playing RB.

Scarlett is the much better back, despite their very similar ratings (like Cook being better than Yearby last year). Scarlett-Miami, Patrick-FSU this year makes up for Cook-FSU, Yearby-Miami last year.

So what you are saying is they want him

Geo305, have you heard that Scarlett lacks work effort and doesn't like contact? Is that a false rumor?

I told you before our first game, the program gets blown out during the season, and the recruiting class goes to Radio 2010 level.

He is running more physical this year than he ever has for sure....

Naw neil its a true rumor... a kid built like a brick wall that runs a 4,3 forty obviously lacks work ethic???.... wouldnt want him at UM nope, lazy and overrated just like Ermon Lane.

Oh and i bet most running backs absolutely loves getting hit

Dex and jalen Julius are in Louisville this weekend. Have a pic together in cards jerseys throwing up the L, please for the love of god just offer jalen already.

I'd take Scarlett over Cook as well. Once Ice gets hold of Scarl, his game and vision will take off to a whole other strAthoshere.

With Scarlett you can add Bruce with him. Scarlett is a take over Patrick imo two studs for one.

why would they wont a espn 4 star kid when they can get a NJ 2 star

Completely false rumor if you have watched him this season.

Rivals evaluation they put out on him a few days back about why they lowered his rank.... LMAO I'm still dying from it.

"This is sort of an incidental drop here. He really didn't do anything to plummet down the rankings. We just liked some other guys better, especially Dexter Williams in the state of Florida. Scarlett is a guy who peaked early, he was a superstar as a young kid, and hasn't progressed as much as we would have liked. He still is a very good player. -- Farrell"

When I read this the other day. I busted out laughing, spit out my drink and everything. These so called experts..... I am willing to bet they have not watched a single game of Jordan Scarlett this year.

BECAUSE if they did, they wouldn't be saying that. That's some load of crap that they took that people were saying before the season that they wanted him to become more physical.

You could have made this case last year that he didn't take the next step.

BUT for anyone who has watched him this year as myself, knows very well he has taken the next step in his game from just being a kid with freak size and speed. Into a complete back that can ground and pound, bust a defender on his *** or just run right past you as he knocked your teammate on his ***.

Scarlett not only likes contact, he breaks tackles, continues moving his legs in the pile, is a factor in the pass game, can block, literally drags defenders into the endzone, runs with a lot more power than previous years and has learned to use his physique and speed to his advantage and play smash mouth and home run threat football on any down now.

And lack of work effort? That's crap, the kid is in the weight room every day. And is always trying to better and perfect his craft.

The knock on Scarlett before this year was that he was a kid with freak size that didn't use it. That he didn't really power through, that he had too much finesse for a kid his size.

Scarlett this year has become a complete back, the back everyone was expecting him to become. I mean it's a transformation, from his 3 years at U School and now at STa this year, he has learned to use his elite size, strength and speed all together now.

Scarlett is elite, you can't just teach 4.3 flat speed at 210. The fact he became the complete back this year that was always expected has me gushing about this kid. We need to hold on to him and get him in here.

I'll just repeat again though. The knock on him during his USchool days was that he was not as physical and as tough of a runner that people wanted him to be. I'm sure he took that criticism into account this season and worked hard cause it has payed off.

Cause it's a complete 180 from him. He's not that kid with just the freak size and speed anymore. He is a violent runner now with elite speed.

In other words, he walks the walk now from his physique to his game.

Scarlett is in the mold of a young Marshawn Lynch but faster or like the Bama backs like Trent Richardson when he came out.

Scarlett is definition of Workhorse RB. He's gonna be the type of back that you see take 30+ carries a game and just kill defenses.

Well the rumor is he's intrigued by McElwain's track record of RBs (Trent, Lacy, etc).

man every running back that golden has had in the last couple of years including temple has started in the nfl before Benard Pierce temple, Lamar Miller, Mike James, Duke johnson next year.... This sh*t is going to make me sick if we lose him...
