Scarlett and Williams

I hate being negative but when we hear these things early we lose them, secondly when Fsu goes hard after someone they land them. It feels like they let us get kids, we beat them before like for coley but head to head I would bet Jimbo is a closer over al.

You hate being negative......

It's a choice.

Why the surprise we know from the start Jordan have been waiting for his FSU offer. Williams for his UF offer. This is what happen when you don't have anything to sell or offer these kids. We are in a down the hill program in life support.

Early playing time?

If it's one tried and true source we know we can trust when it comes to recruiting, it's Twitter

FSU has said multiple times they only intend on taking 2 rbs in this class and with 2 5 star backs right now i doubt scarlett wants to be a 3rd wheel and i doubt FSU wants him.. not to mention cook is going to be unreal next year and hard to get off the field

Sorry to break this down to you Jackson, but part of recruiting is to hurt/cripple your rivals. It's not necessarily doing things in a kid's best interest. Scarlett's stud and Alpha male; cares less about competition coz he knows (in his own mind) he will be the man. FSU feeds into that Alpha male ish and pulls the Baller. In the meantime, FSU won't be facing Scarlett every year as he'd be sitting on he FSU sidelines ==> and that's their ultimate goal when they're at stacked at RB, and basically just wants to keep the athlete away from their rival. Unfortunately, many elite ballas never see the real picture since they have their own binders and just "know" that "Imma be the man!"

Early playing time?

Early playing time, Elite qb's, Great education at private university, awesome campus, beautiful weather, beautiful woman capital of the US. Great tradition, tons of talent, top 2016 recruiting class, Huge history of Pro Canes.... yea but what could they possibly sell him on?

All I see is a list of complete BS filled with a bunch of features other big-time schools can also provide with the word tradition sprinkled in to emphasize how great UM football used to be. And having the #1 ranked class for 2016 when we're 14 months away from NSD '16 is laughable to point out, especially since most of our current commits likely won't be staying if Golden does. Open your eyes and see that keeping Golden ruins two recruiting classes.

I assume we have zero chance of hanging onto Scarlett/Bruce and Williams as long as Al Golden stays here. His presence ruining this program matters more than anything you listed.

Yawn. We are getting our *** kicked by FSU in recruiting because of the one big hole in your list: we never win **** any more.

I know exactly what you are saying. But Im just saying ive seen multiple times that FSU would deny his commitment because they dont need him and only want these 2 rbs. I dont think they care at this point they know they have nothing to worry about as long as Golden is head coach

15 years ago.. Recruits just want to see results

I think Scarlett ends up here. The one thing we have for him is playing time. I think he comes and ends up starting next year with Yearby being the change of pace guy. .

Once again, why do people think Yearby is a change of pace back? When I think change of pace, i think a smaller more explosive 3rd down back, and Yearby just isn't that. He is an in-between the tackles runner. I do agree that we keep Scarlett, Cook is gonna ensure that one. They already have Patrick and while Frazer is probably gonna bounce on them, Cook is the horse there for the next two years, plus Pender and Patrick aren't slouches….
