Sanders Tears

OK, perfect:

Manning 2003:
275/441 (62.4%) 3600 yrds 29 TD 10 ints 148.1 RTG

Sanders 2024:
353/477 (74.0%) 4134 yrds 37 TD 10 ints 168.2 RTG

And u’re full of ****. Just say, I don’t like Shedeur b/c his daddy is a Semenhole vs. this bull **** circular reasoning. I respect honesty, not bull ****.
I couldn’t ******* care less about Shedeur, I’m just seriously wondering if people can’t understand why teams wouldn’t want to deal with that **** if they have anything other than a first round grade on him WITHOUT the off field circus.

And oooooh ya got me, raw passing stats 20 years apart are definitely comparable and the only determining factor in how teams view qb prospects.

You are entitled to your opinion. Sooo you don’t think he’s better than Dart snd Milroe? Smh. 🤦🏾‍♂️ He don’t have Cam’s arm but the young man is hella accurate and makes plays. The whole entire draft season the narrative was, “This is a 2 QB draft. Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders”. Now we’re here at draft time, Cam goes no. 1, and the kid who was supposedly the 2nd QB, AT WORST (some had him at #1) in this entire draft, is still on the board? You don’t think there’s something fishy going on? He may not be as talented as some, but if this was just about football, he would have been off the board no later than early 2nd round. IMO This is on Corch Prime. Nobody else. Nothing else adds up.
Everybody welcome Mel Kiper to the board

They were top 3 picks.
I was strictly responding to “Can't think of another athlete in the world that would be celebrated for his demise without a single blemish on his resume.” people straight up hated those kids and Lonzo couldn’t have been more low maintenance while his dad went off the rails.

Bingo, we have a winner. No one wants to deal with an entitled QB who blames others and has a dad like Deion who will cause nothing but problems
I don’t know the Sanders family, but if the rumors and insider info is correct… that’s too bad

The kid probably is gifted… but he wasn’t given proper discipline and humility

An attitude and upbringing like Cam Ward and he would have went in the first round potentially

On this board the only one that comes close is Shamar Stewart’s dad/Handler

Your the hero we need lol! It's funny the mfs crying foul are so emotional about it & showing the most bias with this guy & they are as blind to it as the Sanders because of their feelings.

Sure, but seems like he’s not the only one saying the same things
Fair enough, but all these coaches are anonymous. Be men and put your names to the comments. I’m still trying to figure out if he’s got that much wrong with his game, how’d he put up those numbers? For all of nfl history, find me a QB that put up those type numbers, was hyped to be the best ir 2nd best QB on the entire draft board, and still sitting on the board this late. This is a message sent directly to Corch Prime, gift wrapped in the nfl flag, signed by the owners.

It's crazy how now all of a sudden he's not good. Like him or not the kid can play. First time I saw him play for CU you could see he had elite accuracy. Like NFL great accuracy. The Chad Pennington of the NFL will always beat out the Demarcus Russell's. But I digress.

Don’t shoot the messenger, but compare their competition.
Colorado didn’t beat a single ranked team or even a good team.

Eli beat 3 ranked teams and Bama and Auburn his senior year.

Ewers still on the board.

He's better than Sanders.

I don't really follow this stuff anymore and just kind of stumbled across him not being selected yet.

The NFL has through the years, given all kinds of **** ups, drama queens, holdouts, divas, PR nightmares, convicted criminals, etc a chance. Many had far less talent than he does.

Who did what or WTF did this dude or even pops do to make this fall happen? I'm trying to find a comparison and I can't think of one.

Spending less time on this team or sport, but was wondering if anyone knew the deal. Crazy. ****, I didn't even know the draft was happening until about an hour ago.

My guess is that a few GMs think he is a 2-3rd round talent if judging him purely on ability. If he wasn’t Deions son, his path would be to a team with a good qb situation, sit for a couple years, shine when he gets in during garbage time or fills in during injury, and then some team takes a chance on year 3 because they are impressed with his nfl tape. His one chance yesterday was if some team was to reach big time based on the hype. But then when he hit day 2, every GM started thinking about Shadeur on the bench and Deion on every sports show after a loss saying the GM is an idiot for not starting Shadeur, the riling up the fan base. And they realized the squeeze isn’t worth the juice.

If he’s in the top 2 college QBs… then wouldn’t common sense tell u that the unnamed assistant coach is right?

Where did this word come from? It’s hard for me to believe a guy that played behind arguably a top 10 worst OL in FBS that threw for 4100+ yrds on 74% completion is not a hard worker.

Oooooooor could it be that a kid who came blinged out, that has a bank account **** near equivalent to the HC he’ll be playing for doesn’t like that he’s a brash guy that speaks his mind. It could be that teams feel that he’s been coddled by his father, & have taken umbrage to the fact he said it’s a travesty he wasn’t included in the Heisman race.

It’s funny that Eli Manning’s father told teams not to bother attempting to draft his son or he wouldn’t play was deemed as heroism, but a kid who says he don’t care where he plays b/c he’s a winner (even though his father once said he’s concerned w the right fit for his son) is demonized.

There’s certain things that r unspoken at certain levels, & Shedeur fits the criteria of “you don’t seem humble enough to be grateful for this opportunity.” Certain brass don’t like those types, & I’m not being caping…I literally just got off the phone w my partner who’s the agent for Jeanty.

U see, narratives r rarely ever true; they’re just guise to distract from the truth. When I hear off field issues, I think:
-Drugs
-DUIs
-DVs
-Skipping Practice/Team Meetings
-Baby Mama Drama
-Arrest Records

Etc.

NOT he’s ****y or but his dad….

IMO this has more to do with his up bringing. Following your dad everywhere as your coach, being handed every team he’s been on, having more say than usual in the offense, criticizing teammates, selfish play, poor leadership and to top it off not standing out in any one aspect of playing QB has more to do with the fall. Imagine taking this coddled kid into a world he’s not been prepared for and handing him to keys to your franchise. Him coming across as a jackass and the Sanders circus exacerbate the concerns.

Average arm
Below Average athleticism
Slow progressions
Poor decisions

His + if I’m being fair is his accuracy.
