Everyone wants to be boiled down to one thing when it’s a number of things coming together in a ****tail of crazy.

And yes, I am sure that some people takes are wrapped up in their racism over a strong black family , and I am sure there are people who, because he a black man defend blindly based on past history of others who did suffer from obviously racist motives , but those are the outliers. Most of the conversation is likely more gray.

Either way just here to say that Cam Ward was actually the number one pick

I would love to hear that argument within the context of this situation.
If you are not open minded enough to see that the frat boy was an immature *** and that Shedeur was on the receiving end of the same type of **** he's been dishing out for years, it's not really worth having a conversation.

I mean to be fair I don’t think anyone was thinking he was going to be in the 5th round so it is amazing value.

Based on what, though?

If it's based on Neon Deion hyping up his son as a Top 5 pick, sure.

But if it's based on the small number of teams that needed QBs, the huge drop-off in QB talent after Cam Ward, and the fact that Shedeur tanked interviews with nearly every team in the market for a QB, it certainly seemed like his slide would last for a good long time.
