Samson move him to guard

Here’s the thing, he’s the best left tackle on the team. So who the **** do you wanna put it left tackle if it’s not him? Curious on your answer on that? And before you say it, I’m gonna let you know now, Cantwell is not ready yet.
 
He’s probably the best we have at LT, so no.

He has to come back for Y5 though, unless he wants to be a day 3 pick at best. He has been struggling some in pass pro and is a noticeable drop off from Markel. I do think he can and will improve, this is his first year starting at that spot.
 
That is the problem Mario and Alex are not rotating Tackle in the game. Try big ben on the outside and Samson at guard. Not sure why they haven't tried. Pitt is a good DLine, but Notre Dame will kill Mensah. All the teams will see how bad they look.

Pitt is 34th in the country in sack %.
ND is 36th, we are 37th.

ND protects their QB well though, 2nd in the country in giving up sacks %. We are 29th. I expect us to be very aggressive, per usual.

100% multiple moves more of a problem then finding one player to play guard. Somebody step up. So many of the issues are correctable. Get it fixed.

Have them been corrected??? Seems like it is getting worse each week. Not trying to be negative. But, watching them it is getting worse.

Yep. I refuse to believe we wouldn’t be better off with McCoy or Samson taking SJ’s spot and having Cantwell at tackle.

Carr will have some time, as have the other QBs we've faced recently. But we keep getting better there IMO.
Most importantly will pur secondary improve in coverage and discipline.

UNC is next, we can talk about ND next week.
