We have to do it better then.Anyone who thinks we didn't is an idiot.

Yes we are. We're not winning 10 with Emory.
Emory is a bum. Never was worth a UM offerYes we are.
I am not a fan of Emory Williams (reminds me of Daniel Jones - I'm a giants fan) but to think we wont win at least 10 games is crazy talk.
WR group will continue being strong. Fletch MIGHT come back, doubt it. If he doesn't RB group is still solid. OL should still be somewhat a positive unit.
Defense - Secondary is bringing back everyone except Scott and Thomas + we replaced Thomas with Thornton. Fitzgerald soph year. DL has 3 guys becoming juniors and who will be a year better after this playoff run.
Will Emory Williams lead offense be as pretty as Cam Ward and Carson Beck, No. But Emory wont F this up.
This is nuts.
#1 Leavitt obviously doesn't care about winning. He cares about his development(kudos to Kiffin who knows how to develop QBs). His ego and Lane's ego are just match made in heaven. LSU will go 9-3.
#2 It's not over IMO (Moore or Simpson)
#3 Even if we roll with Luke Nickel or Emory Williams this team will be just fine. There's enough talent to go 10-2 again.
Bailey is out of it..he just got half of his band back together with Chance robinson, and BULLET Gause transferring into Nc State.Weigman or Bailey need to get thrown a very nice offer

a couple of things.Yes we are.

Most QBs are under contract. You saw what happened to the Washington QB. He tried to portal but the contract held up. I’m not sure we can tamper and get our way this time.
I think they want a sure thing over a question markDoes Nickel suck or something? He was Gatorade Player of the Year in Georgia I think...what gives?
Why? He had a buyout. It was prohibitively expensive. Please, for the love of god, please stop this "the contract held up" bull****.
He chose not to challenge it, it didn't "hold up"Most QBs are under contract. You saw what happened to the Washington QB. He tried to portal but the contract held up. I’m not sure we can tamper and get our way this time.
We might want to get him on a visitHe’s still committed, he’s just taking visits.
I believe he wanted OregonPretty obvious staff got played. Leavitt wanted Kifffin/LSU all along and used us and Tennessee to get more $.
My interpretation was different…the way i heard it was it held up because Williams wasn’t willing to challenge it. He weighed his options and took the safer route
My thoughts tooLook, there's no way that the 2 WRs that signed this weekend would be here with Emory effing Williams as the starting QB. Mario obviously has things going on in the background as we've all suspected. Somebody posted earlier today that Leavitt isn't telling us no (implying it's the other way around). And Cribby told us yesterday that the kid is quite a handful. So maybe MC just told his camp to eff off.
You do realize he has to be able to throw a forward pass right ? Pop tart bowl showed he couldn’t so unless he night and day better the kid isn’t Miami starting caliberYes we are.

After weeks of rumors, there’s finally something real to chew on in Miami’s quarterback transfer hunt.
According to Pete Thamel, former Arizona State quarterback Sam Leavitt is visiting Coral Gables today. He’s already taken visits to LSU, Kentucky, and Tennessee, and now Miami is officially in the mix as things begin to heat.
In the 2024 season at Arizona State, he threw for over 2,800 yards, tossed 24 touchdowns against just six interceptions, and added more than 400 rushing yards with five scores on the ground.
Even in an injury-shortened 2025 campaign, Leavitt stayed productive. He passed for 1,600+ yards, threw 10 touchdowns with only three picks, and rushed for another 300 yards and five touchdowns.
Miami’s interest checks out. Under Mario Cristobal, the Hurricanes have been aggressive in the transfer portal and reliable when it comes to quarterback development. From Cam Ward, who went on to become the No. 1 overall pick, to Carson Beck, whose NFL future looks bright, Miami has built real credibility at the position.
Agreed. Dude said we could go 10-2 with Emory. I said no.The bar is much higher than 10 now.
