I tried but my work computer wouldn't play the video. The page it took me to was Ahmmons.Watched it on my phone just now. That guy looks to be in incredible shape and ready to contribute.Should be a great battle between him and Berrios for playing time in the slot.

That does NOT look like an incoming freshman slot WR. The kid is definitely working his tail off.

This is no knock on Duke bc he was a great player but I think Bruce will be a badass player that will also be a true leader. I didn't get the feeling Duke was much of a leader. He just did his job at a high level and kind of stayed to himself. Could be wrong but Bruce seems like a guy that gets everyone fired up and ready to play on his level.

Honestly, Sam Bruce is built like a RB. He's probably like 5'9 185 right now with a stocky build similar to a Darren Sproles.

He's an elite slot WR with routes, hands, and open field play making ability.. but I wouldn't mind seeing him utilized like the Saints used Sproles. His ceiling might be limited at WR as far as draft and NFL future. Teams would be all over him if he showed ability to be used in the backfield though.

But to clarify.. it's obvious that the more immediate need is at WR and he needs to focus on that his freshman year.. then as he gets to be a soph, junior, and senior and depth becomes better at the position.. he should definitely start expanding his roll to a 3rd down back in addition to the slot.

Duke played under Golden and he and every other player who played for that clown will always get the benefit of the doubt from me.

5'9 is very generous. But, yes he's build more like a RB than a WR.

I think that Sam Bruce is Steve Smith 2.0. Similar build, speed, aggressiveness on and off the field.

You've clearly never seen Steve Smith play. He was a force of nature in his prime. It's like comparing every 6'4" WR to Randy Moss. You just can't - they're both unique. Gods among mere mortals.
