Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas four-star wide receiver Sam Bruce just wrapped up his official visit to South Carolina, and said it exceeded his expectations.

“The visit went exceptionally well,” the 5-foot-8, 180-pound Bruce said. “Even better than I thought it would. I had a great time. A great time.”

The Gamecocks are now in Bruce’s top three.

“South Carolina is definitely in my top three along with Miami and Ohio State.”

Bruce is being recruited by defensive coordinator Travaris Robinson, and the two have hit it off.

“He told me to pick somewhere for me. My relationship with him will be big.”

Bruce plans to ride out until the first week in February.

“Final decision on signing day.”

He isn't considering Florida anymore?

This might be better for Miami if he isn't considering Florida at all tbh

You may have heard wrong, considering Richt tried to give him an in-home visit the first day after the dead period and sent Ron Dugans to visit him earlier that day

So he would rather go to South Carolina where they have no qb and an idiot Hc over coming here with a much more proven coach, seems like sound logic.
