Sam Bruce USCe visit

Heard Richt isn't that high on him.... Hope its bull**** though, really love this kids ability and attitude on the field.

You may have heard wrong, considering Richt tried to give him an in-home visit the first day after the dead period and sent Ron Dugans to visit him earlier that day

considering Richt stood him up...and is aggressively pursuing every other WR in the region

He is the one that canceled with Richt..citing he had an "interview"

How did Richt stand him up? Yeah us pursing other receivers means Richt does not want Bruce maybe we are taking a 4-5 WRs this class.Your insider shtick doesn't work.

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas four-star wide receiver Sam Bruce just wrapped up his official visit to South Carolina, and said it exceeded his expectations.

“The visit went exceptionally well,” the 5-foot-8, 180-pound Bruce said. “Even better than I thought it would. I had a great time. A great time.”

The Gamecocks are now in Bruce’s top three.

“South Carolina is definitely in my top three along with Miami and Ohio State.”

Bruce is being recruited by defensive coordinator Travaris Robinson, and the two have hit it off.

“He told me to pick somewhere for me. My relationship with him will be big.”

Bruce plans to ride out until the first week in February.

“Final decision on signing day.”

Committed to us but has a Top 3 . LOL . But he's a leader right ?

Really dude? this has nothing to do with leadershio.....But Picking South Carolina over us is laughable..... I dont think a South FLorida recruit has ever done that

I just think with people touting him as a "must get" because of his "incredible leadership" , we would see him recruiting players to come play with him at the school he's committee to. Thats how you be a leader .

Character issues?

height and ceiling issues... 5'7 without elite speed

Sounds like Wes weaker, and the other slot guys for the pats like Julian Edelman. Kids a very good route runner And is a productive receiver. Let's not act like it wouldn't be a loss for him to decommit but at the same time I could do without the drama.

That verges on disrespectful in my opinion. I am all for getting the most talented kids despite any games they play, if you end up with them on NSD then all is well but kids who play games like this and flip at the last minute really leaves the original university scrambling for a replacement.

If he has plans to commit somewhere else on NSD, or is not fully decided, he should not be committed to anyone at this point in time. Anyways, would love to have him, hope it works out, we need WRs in general and a pre-made slot guy like him would fill a need. I believe he could contribute his freshman year.

Rashad Fenton did it last year. And after we struck out in corners in 2014 Chris lammons did it to us as well. So did skai Moore. However, in all three cases there was a **** up on our staff's part

He's enjoying his visits at this late hour in the recruiting process like many of our past commitments have. He's never said a bad word about us, but we have a bunch of dorks crying about him enjoying the process.

I've always said every recruit should take all of their free visits to see what's out there and broaden their horizons. Sure, you take the chance of them seeing something that fits them better, but if we actually care about these young me at all, I'd say good for them....no hate here.

Will he come or not? I will wait and see. Should he opt for elsewhere, good luck to the young man.

I think people are upset that he re-scheduled his in-home with Richt at the last minute more so than him enjoying his visits. His whining about Beard is also annoying.

Good luck to him where ever he goes. He won't make or break this school. Very good player, but there's lots of those.

The diva routine is getting old.

He had an in home visit set with Richt and he cancelled it. Very disrespectful.

Meant to upvote.

Jordan Scalrett and Alex Collins played the same games.

Richt wont tolerate it.
